An audiobook that talks to guys in the way guys talk! Having a pulse is all it really takes to fall in love. Staying in love is another matter; staying in love requires a plan and some learned skills. "My primary audience for this book is guys (sorry, sneaky ladies)," says author Doug Fields. "I am writing in a way that most men seem to talk and learn." In 7 Ways to Be Her Hero, Fields gives, quite candidly, seven very doable actions to transform any marital relationship, guaranteed. It also includes a bonus chapter for guys to listen to with their wives. So if you want to understand some simple ways to invest in your marriage and be your wife’s hero (again), this is the plan!

This made me see that I am not alone in my ignorance of marriage and provided valuable tips and tools to transform myself into a better husband. I pray I am not receiving these lessons too late.
A highly recommended read/listen!
I've actually had the privilege of listening to Doug Fields live at my church in Gilbert, AZ(Mission Community Church), and let me tell you the narrating was spot on! He's a lot of fun to listen to and the jokes he has about the struggles of being a Christian man in todays society make this a fun read/listen. It teaches you how to honor God & your spouse in a society that unfortunately places non-realistic expectations on Christian men and it provides help on how to avoid burning out in your marriage while trying to build everlasting love in your relationship... I'll read this again I'm sure!! There was a lot of good information and almost impossible to retain all of it. The lessons contained in each chapter were things that you could apply to your situation immediately. In closing I just want to say Thank You to Mr. Doug Fields...You've helped me more than you'll ever know.
This book spoke to me. No filler or nonsense. Written in man's language. As a result of reading this book, I have tools and a better understand of marriage that will help me love my wife more. If you are reading this, you need to buy it. I feel really strongly that it should be required reading for men.
A wonderful book that is practical and powerful. It was a bit to cheesy and fresh at times but all in all good.
