As a single guy out dating this book was a great help! It reminded me that it’s not about meeting someone and listening to respond. It’s about listening with the intent to add value to that person. I’ve seen my second date chances increase over 50% as I’ve gotten more second dates. I’ve also been reminded that where I was applying these habits in the office I need to apply them everywhere and in all aspects of my life. John C. Maxwell does a lot to help people and I enjoy his work immensely. I just wish they weren’t going through and ‘updating’ his books with new narrators. I have some of his books on CD still and I liked him reading them. This narrator is the best out of the new group of narrators I’ve listen to thus far. If you're looking for a boost in your life, dating or work relationships this simple easy to read book is for you.
Not the best but a good buy for the money.
Non fiction book so no character
To learn and memorize personal details about work peers and compliment them.
This is great book! How best to write any book review? OK. This book is for any person who desires a more quality day tomorrow. The book is full of stories that stunningly relate the diamonds of insights within. Huh? Hope that is not too corny a sentence....AND....BUY THE DARN BOOK! Just went over 200 books purchased from audible.com. This book rocks with the best!
John Maxwell is a leadership guru whose rules provide great advice every time. This book is consistent with his other books, and shows why Maxwell is the sage that he is. I especially like the rule to say something positive about people whenever you can.
It is nice to remember some important things. I hate how audible makes me to write minimum 15 words. I'm doing this from my iPhone and I don't have time to do that just because somebody into the company said so.
