I would love to rank it #1 among all, because it's impressive and enlightening - covered almost all sectors of our life.
While I was listening to "What is balance?" it impressed me to the highest degree.
I almost loved all the steps revealed here, merely the ending at Step 22 - "Love Yourself - the Alpha and the Omega" was superb!
Incredible and thought provoking script of guidance.
22 Steps to the Light of Your Soul - is such an ultimate audiobook, which will prompt you to step ahead to surviving your life in a more honest direction. These humble lessons about self-judgement and self-understanding will definitely help for spiritual journey towards life. I listened to these segments more than five times so far. The lessons are really encouraging and I'm happy that I found some great ways to improve my life styles.
A kind loving caring Father’s voice of understanding and authority spoke to me. His voice questioned me. Asking and answering my unspoken questions. Why?
This powerful mystical voice spoke of the way. How he knows the wisdom of the Ages I don’t know. But one thing I do know is this; I plan to buy half a dozen downloads just so I can give them away saying “Listen to this, you have never before heard inspiration like this
I liked the progression of thought transformation that took place my me, as I listened to each chapter.
The Author, who has a loving caring understanding wisdom.
My souls journey in discovery of the precious self.
I plan to buy half a dozen downloads just so I can give them away saying "Listen to this, you have never before heard inspiration like this."
The part about loving oneself especially resonate with me, it is such a simple yet powerful rule which can make all the difference.
Definitely, the author presents information in a well thought out and exciting way, and I can't wait to start applying it to my personal life.
This book instructs us how to support and nurture the key pillars of our life. The comprehensive positive approach that the author takes is something badly missing in the modern culture. After listening to this book, I feel more confident and able to confront life's challenges in a positive way and live more fulfilled. Highly recommended.
Yes because the narrator was wonderful and his cadence was meditative. Well written and very well narrated, this book should be playing in every ones's headphones, on replay.
The concepts are familiar and so are comfortable and gentle. Follow a fraction of the ideas in this book and your life will be more balanced and loving.
This was a self help book therefore, characters are mot a part of the narrative.
For me, the 22nd. step of loving yourself resonated with me. the perspective of the author was uplifting and very empowering. I had just experienced a painful interaction and this step in particular helped me create a mantra to move through the hurt and look forward.
Enlightening, inspirational, fascinating
I did enjoy the personal touches sprinkled throughout, basically describing each step, and posing a question to you, making you stop and ask yourself questions, to better understand yourself
I thought he understood the material, and brought the right amount of emotion, and thoughtfulness.
I couldn't pick out a single part, I think the entire book was thought provoking, and fascinating.
This book has really made me think about things in my life. I will certainly check out some of Tazkuvel's other works!
I really enjoy audio versions of books because I am such a slow reader. I can close my eyes and listen and soak in the information so much easier than trying to read. When I read things myself I don't always soak in what I read and I have to go back and re read paragraphs. So yes it is better for me to listen to audio. I find it 200% better to soak in, understand what is being said, and think of ways to apply to my life while listening.
I like how this book inspires you in every aspect of your life. Each chapter was a section of your life to work on and I like how the book was divided up.
Ried Kerr brought a calm voice that was easy to listen to and the way the book was read was very calming to me. I was able to sit back, relax, close my eyes and listen to the book. I felt relaxed as I was listening.
I especially liked the chapter on loving myself. I do think that's something we tend to forget about, we are so busy trying to love and care for others we forget to love ourselves. I feel like love yourself should have been at the beginning because loving ourselves is often left out of things, or anyone who read some of the book and didn't make it to the end would miss out on loving yourself.
SciFi/Fantasy and Classics to History, Adventure and Memoirs to Social Commentary—I love and listen to it all!
I dunno--perhaps this is a life changer, but I just CANNOT get through it. This has got to be the densest, most purple of prose I've ever read/listened to in my entire life. I had to keep pausing it to translate just what the hell the author was talking about. Tazkuvel is VERY fond of using flowery, flowery, FLOWERY (wait! Have I mentioned it's really flowery?) language. It's way too much. Which is tragic because the first few bits I translated for myself were really quite touching and could've been quite motivating. But I'm way too exhausted to waste my time on any more of this. Life is far too short, and there are far too many other inspirational reads out there.
That said, godspeed to all. I'm off to look for them...
I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking to explore spirituality in different ways without committing to a fixed idea structure.
The 22 Steps offers a new approach to spirituality that can be embraced by anyone when it comes identifying yourself and your own potential
The narrator was perfect for this book, rich tone in the voice and very easy to listen to which made the book easy to relate to.
The experience of this book is not a single moment but rather the impact of the book as a whole
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone seeking enlightenment and answers - and I already have.
Reid Kerr was a great narrator. He has that hint of a Southern accent that I find soothing.
Reid Kerr does a great job narrating this book.
I felt that all of the subjects were important but I am a particular fan of anything that deals with "serenity".
I really loved this book and the way that it was broken up into short sections that seemed to build on each other. The lessons are all positive, uplifting and motivating which are key elements to bring about greater personal enlightenment. I feel that I have been on a spiritual journey for many years and adding this book to my path wasn't an accident.
So much better. Its like a forceful whisper, that is strong, authoritative yet encouraging to me, and speaking into my heart and mind. How could a print version do this ?
There are just too many instances that I think it acted as my guardian angel and offer me great advice.
I have not. Its very good to know about Reid Kerr and the compelling voice.
The greatest love of all is the love of yourself.
If you are like me, and many other people, who are overly critical of yourself, who are always putting yourself down to suit other people, who have been put down because people are jealous of you, who have been subjected to stupendous stupidity and ridicule, who have been living under lies of Corpenican proportions...This is your Guardian Angel manifesting through the voice of Reid Kerr and the writings of Embrosewyn Tazkuvel to save you from a life of depression, misery and unfortunate events.
"Disappointed and feeling misled!"
Perhaps I shouldn't comment as I couldn't actually finish the book, but it just seemed to be going on and on about what being a good and rounded person really is. Somebody maybe at the very start of their spiritual searching might enjoy this.
The book was beautifully and poetically written and I might listen to his work again but would be more careful about making sure the title reflects the content!
Very disappointed and would really recommend that you check the content of the book is really what you're after!
