Sweet

Sweet little romance. Typical..hot guy/beautiful sexy girl, they don't want to fall in love with anyone, there is a difficult ex causing problems but they are drawn together so they easily fall in love. Sweet Story

This is the third book in the City Meets Country Series, but this story can be listened as a standalone. Gabriel and Harper's story is romantic, sweet and fun. The narration was well done and easy to listen. Riley Raye has a great voice. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review

Let this audio kiss you

This is book 3 in the series and I have enjoyed every signal one . Each story can be listened to as a stand-alone.this story will have you laughing at some scenes, it’s a sweet love story that you will be routing for the hero and heroine. The story is about 2 people from different walks of life and different worlds .
Hero is Gabriel. Heroine is Harper .

Gabe decides to get a few days to himself after his father passes. That includes from his over possession girlfriend Rachael .
Harper and Gabe meet when Harper gets work in New York , when Gabe and Harper meet the chemistry is off the charts and low and behold Harpers boss is none other then Rachael, Gabes ex . Does Rachael make life uneasy for Harper. Grab it and see

The narrator was good. Her voice was smooth, clear and strong

Harper moves to NY from Kentucky for a new job with no interest in beginning a new relationship. Gabriel has sworn off relationships after losing his father in order to be just like him. The last thing either wants is the first thing they get.

Riley Raye does a very good job with her narration.

Such a sweet yet steamy love story..........

Sealed with A Kiss is the third book in the series, but the author made this a complete standalone. In this book, Gabriel is a Cuban American recently beginning his career at the Bronx Aquarium as a sea lion trainer. Unfortunately, Gabriel must take his father's place as the head of the aquatic training when his father dies unexpectedly and leaves his position open. Not only must Gabriel fill his father's place at work, but he feels that he must take care of his widowed mother and be a perfect man like he believes his father always was. At the same time, he breaks up with his high school sweetheart and fiance, Rachel, who happens to work in the marketing department at the Aquarium.

Into this volatile situation walks Harper, a recent college graduate from Lexington, Kentucky, leaving her country life for a job in the big city at, you guessed it, the Bronx Aquarium. Harper gets to know Gabriel, and their connection quickly deepens into something neither planned on having at this point in their lives. They both want to focus on their careers, and Gabriel constantly struggles with living up to his father's standards. Despite some tangles with Rachel, some hilarity from uncooperative mammal costumes and frisky sea lions, and a little angst over family drama, Harper and Gabriel still manage to fall in love. Although at times tender and sweet, this story also had plenty of passion and fire, and I was truly invested in these two getting their HEA.

Riley Raye's narration is excellent. She has a very pleasant voice, and she handles with equal ease both Harper's slight Southern drawl and Gabriel's Cuban accent. She made an already wonderful story an even better listening experience.

Sweet romance!

This was another great book in the series by Mysti Parker and MJ Post. I liked the progression of Gabe and Harper's relationship. I thought Harper's character was very fun. I loved her ability to speak her mind and stand up for herself. The narrator Riley Raye did a great job as well. She was very pleasant to listen to. Only thing that would make this series better for me would be to have a male and female narrator. It pulls me into a story even more so that way! Sea Lions, Not Seals!

Things I learned (and I love to learn!): sea lions have earflaps and can flip their flippers to stand and walk while seals slither along on their bellies on land; Cubans eat really well (craving some tostones y ropas viejas!); training animals can build strong bodies twelve ways (points if you "got" that reference).

This is the third in a series of romances which share characters but focus on a different couple in each book and can each stand alone. A bit of very steamy sex but limited to one scene--the rest of the story is PG and fun!

UPDATE~~Just listened to the audio version and enjoyed the story even more the second time! You'll enjoy the various accents which help identify the various characters.

Romantic and sweet

All his life, Gabriel wanted to be like his father, a sea lion trainer, and good provider. When his father unexpectedly dies, he is thrown into the position before he is ready, and has to rise to the occasion. Love is the last thing on his mind. When Harper comes to New York and gets a position at he aquarium though, all bets are off. She is everything he wants. He tries to distance himself, but it's next to impossible. Rachel, Gabriel's ex is not ready to let go of her childhood sweetheart and things get pretty sticky. I love these stories, Harper being from Kentucky and moving to NYC is a huge adjustment, and we get to live that experience with her. We get to visit with other friends we have made through this series. It's always fun to see characters we know adding a layer of cohesiveness as we listen. Harper is a great character, trying to find her way in the big city. Her clumsiness both physically and her ability to learn her new job skills is funny and endearing. Gabriel is a strong character,focused and once he knows what he wants, is determined to achieve it. I loved his way with the kids during sea lion demonstrations finding he is very calming. It's a fun, romantic listen and great addition to the series.

Narrated by Riley Raye, she expertly inserts the Hispanic accent into the story. I loved her voices for the different characters. She made it a very pleasant listen and the story came to life.

Sweet story

The overall story is great. There is enough chemistry and drama to draw you into the story and keep your attention. In the end the right couple wins the HEA.
