Really interesting read. Aimed at people older than myself (i am 30) this book looks at issues of life style change that can help your heart both before and after cardiac issues arise.
That your cardiovascular age may be greater than your actually age; due to life style?
What risk factors indicate future cardiovascular issues?
What medical test and help maybe useful?
What life style choices can help with this?
More over the level of detail is often excellent the food chapters alone talk about everything from what type of fish to eat 3 times a week (including mercury risk) to how you don't have to reduce or change what you eat so much and alter its type... e.g olive oil instead of butter, dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate etc.
I personally as an UK resident was interested in how different food health standards in the EU and USA mean American have to be more careful when buying certain health products.
Overall great book well presented as a younger reader the stuff on helping libido was not something i needed but if i had been post heart attack i think it would be useful. :)
