There are books of the same chemical composition as dynamite. The only difference is that a piece of dynamite explodes once, whereas a book explodes a thousand times. ― Yevgeny Zamyatin
On the whole, I found the chapters informative. But Chapter 2, which looks at the nervous system with its neurons, glial cells and Schwann cells, was a bit too hard for me.
I believe the main drawback is that the reader is fast when you need to take in specific information. Personally, her timbre was irritating.
It's a serious and substantial book, and I'm glad to have bought it. I'm fed up with pseudo- psychology literature that has taken over bookshops.
Informative, Organized, easy-to-follow
Good enunciation, pace and energy
The book is broken up into 13 chapters/files... this makes it easy to select one topic (such as the brain, or social psychology) and listen to it in about 90 minutes. If you are interested in psychology, this one is certainly worth the credit...:)
I'm not sure how this book rates with people who are taking Psychology as a college or university course but I would guess it should rate high.
The naration is pleasing to listen to and the book is easy to follow and understand.
