    "Little boring"

    It's a short book, but the story is too extensive! It tells the story of Mandeleev and a lot of historical information that is unnecessary for the understanding of the periodic table. I was looking for a more technical book, and not a historical one.

    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Yes, as it is a very concise collection of knowledge of the history and future of the periodic table.

    Who was your favorite character and why?

    The books coverage of the underlying "invasion of physics in chemistry" was very interesting.


    Which character – as performed by Eric Scerri – was your favorite?

    In so far as what is achieved, he uses concise and very useful information. In so far as what could be improved, his delivery could use more energy.


    If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Bismuth was recently found to be radioactive, before the publishing of this book. In the book Bismuth is described as stable, not radioactive. This error could have been caught before publishing.


    Any additional comments?

    Comparing the value of the periodic table to the value of Darwin's evolution theory is a stretch, in the extreme.
