For years, I struggled with back and knee pain. Some days it was so bad It was difficult to walk or sit in one position for very long. After listening to this box set, I've finally managed to get my pain under control. I've learned what causes it so I can prevent it before it starts, I've learned natural ways to strengthen my back and knees through food, supplements and exercise. The pain still creeps up every now and then, but now I know how to deal with it. I feel as though I finally have my life back. Thanks!
I have some back pain that I have to deal with on a fairly constant basis. This is a great book for that. My husband suffers from pain in one of his knees that comes and goes at random. I like that this book covers both of those problems. This book is useful for both of us. I recommend it to anyone who needs tips and tricks to getting rid of back or knee pain whenever it hits.
I really enjoyed this audio book on "Pain Relief: Back and Knee Pain. It actually rates up there with my favorite audio book, which is "Billionaire Island."
This is purely an informational book, so there aren't any characters. I love both Ace and Josh equally!
I love to listen to Joshua Mackey's performance each time I listen to him narrate one of Ace's books. He is full of life, and he brings excitement to each of Ace's words.
I think the one idea that I will remember most from this book is, "The joints of the spine are responsible for causing back pain in about 1/3 of lower of lower back pain cases."

This is a non fiction book so there are no characters, but Joshua Mackey keeps your attention the entire way through this 3 hours and some minute book. He makes it easy to understand and makes you feel like you can actually do these things and make everything better.
I had no idea that what I eat could affect back and knee pain, but this book gave me things that could make the pain worse and some things that would make the pain better. The exercises for stretching and strengthening the areas are easy to do and the instructions are simple. I always get confused as to whether I should ice down the pain or put heat on it and this book explained everything so that I could understand and do the right thing.
The information in this book did not make my pain go completely away, but that just simply is not possible. What it did do is make it more manageable and more comfortable so that I could do things I haven't been able to do in months. The book may not be able to eradicate all your pain, but it most certainly will help it to feel a bit better.
I'm a big fan of trying different was to reduce pain with medication or invasive procedures. This audio book offers numerous ways to battle back pain in a more natural way. I liked that there were stretches and exercises described in detail as well as herbal products to try. I personally spend a great deal of time at a desk so the ergonomic tips are very helpful. Even if you don't currently suffer from these types of pain, this audio book offers great prevention tips too!
This audio gave me lots of great ideas for dealing with my back pain. The exercises helped me the most, especially the plank exercise and the back hyper extensions. I also got a foam roller and an inversion machine which has pretty much eliminated my lower back pain. Lots of other helpful tips as well! Highly recommended!
With a new pain in one knee and periodic back pain, I got a lot of practical down-to-earth advice. I was able to implement some strengthening exercises that, while too early to tell the long-term benefits, are beginning to show some promise already in strengthening both my knees and my middle back.
It really helped me to listen to these two books. And ask me in a few months how my knee and back are doing!
"Helpful guide to pain relief"
This is a very useful guide in helping with back and knee pain. I have been a manual worker since a teenager and it has already paid it's price on my body, even though I am only in my mid 20's I do struggle with pain in both my back and my knees.
There are so many different forms of pain relief and companies claiming to have the best products that it can be quite overwhelming so I really enjoyed this comprehensive guide as it goes into natural relief methods, medical help and specific consumer products that can help ease the pain. I like the fact that it doesn't make any wild claims but talks from personal experience which is powerful testimony to the effectiveness of the relief methods.
The only thing I will say is that a lot of the products mentioned are from the American market and I am not sure what their availability is in the UK, however I will be looking into it,

I found this Back Pain audio book useful, as it covers all kinds of preventative, natural and medical treatments. It considers the causes of back pain and then discusses a wide range of holistic measures and exercises to protect and strengthen your back. Of course it also details the medical and surgical options that are used to treat back pain and outlines the pros and cons of different treatments. The author gives a panoramic view of the problem and its solutions, but majors on the wide range of holistic treatments and exercises that will help to improve your comfort if you suffer in this way and can also help to prevent problems in the first place. Very much a self help approach, with loads of suggestions designed to help you to get your back into the best shape possible.
The Knee Pain audio begins with detailed descriptions of different kinds of knee injury, why they occur and how they are usually treated surgically, giving the book a more traditional medical feel from the outset. However, keep listening as the author moves on to discussing all kinds of preventative exercises, supplemental treatments and nutritional suggestions, as well as methods of protecting and supporting your knees. It’s beautifully read by Joshua Mackey and offers a sympathetic and encouraging approach to anyone who struggles with painful knees. Even better for those who *don’t* experience pain, but do undertake physical activities such as gardening and sport, which put their knees at risk. Prevention is smarter than waiting for a problem to occur.
"Perfect Pain Relief for Knee & Back Pain"
This book on pain relief for back pain and knee pain is truly a great value for money. It contains so many tips and advice for battling soreness and aches in these areas, as well as some great preventative measures.
The advice given is clear and easy to implement, while the narrator does an excellent job of being engaging throughout the book.
My favourite parts included learning more about how to prevent back pain through exercises and diet. I also found the sections on natural ways to treat knee pain to be both helpful and very informative.
Overall, this was a great listen and a valuable resource of information for fighting pain in these areas of the body. 5 stars!
