As a working parent of four-year-old triplet daughters, I understand time management presents one of the greatest barriers to my pharmacology students' success. Many students feel that cold sense of overwhelm and information overload.
This easy-to-listen guide organizes pharmacology into manageable, logical steps you can fit in short pockets of time. The proven system helps you memorize medications quickly and form immediate connections. With mnemonics from students and instructors, you'll see how both sides approach learning.
After you've finished the 200 Top Drugs in this book, reading pharmacology exam questions will seem like reading plain English. You'll have a new understanding of pharmacology to do better in class, clinical and your board exam. You'll feel the confidence you'd hoped for as a future health professional. For patients and caregivers, this book provides a means to memorize your own medications to better communicate with your health providers.

I love the narrator, the flow, the mnemonics, and the simplicity. Highly recommended!!!! As a medical student, I can confidently say that this book is one of a kind when it comes to learning Pharm. First book I've come across that is not intimidating.
Thank you Dr. Guerra, you made Memorizing Pharmacology an enjoyable read!
I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend it to anyone in the medical field. I also recommend the audible version because it helped me with the pronunciations.
There are many names in pharmacology that seem unpronounceable, os it's not as much that the audio is better than the print version as much as helpful to have with the print version.
The Cardiode to Joy performance in the cardiac section is really well done, the book really makes sense from beginning to end.
The ending where the mom and dad had to do CPR on their 3-month old was a tearjerker.
How to make pharmacology not suck.
This is great to listen to before you go into Pharmacology for nursing. I have a medical background, but this still was a fantastic refresher and went well with in class studies.
The author is busy describing how great she is in between the actual lesson. The best selling point of this book is the narrator trying so hard not to make her book sound pompous. Toby Guerra seriously needs heavy self-aware training. What a big waste of time and money it has been. ㅠㅠ
"Fantastic narration ... Great story.. Very useful"
I found out about this book through a social media. I am preparing for my pre-reg pharmacy exam (uk). I was looking for something very much like this!! Though some of the brands, dose & drug schedules we use in uk are different than USA; the book is still very useful!!
I got so hooked up with the book and I finished the whole narration in one day! Helpful .. Will deffo recommend !
