With practice, mindfulness exercises such as the Body Scan can also help you to become more focused, to release pent-up emotions, and to develop a more positive state of mind. This meditation also expands your attention beyond your physical body and into the energy fields surrounding you to help deepen your relaxation even further.
You can listen to the Body Scan at any time of day, but it can be especially useful to listen last thing at night, to help to calm your mind and relax your body before falling asleep.
