Sailor. Reader. Adventurer. Liberal.
Among the best in both content and production.
Not a narrative story so really does not have "moments." Good information overall.
Resonant, easy-to-listen-to voice with excellent delivery.
A damn good "first" book regarding an important area for professionals to be aware of, and exploit.
Sailor, businessman, investor.
I found this book to be a profoundly enlightening and clear explanation re: the rudiments of data science - its techniques, benefits and potential pitfalls. Highly recommended.
(like the soup)
Nicely produced and cogently presented rudiments of data science in a presentation ideal for the non-technical novice who needs to understand this most essential emerging aspect of the enterprise.
In one section he simply read from the Hadoop website, while in data cleaning section he gave no more information than the Wikipedia article on the same subject. If you are just looking for buzzards and concepts for your next interview this book will do the job.
