A Short History of Nearly Everything
A well written infomative book that delivers a vast amount of information in a manner relatively easy to follow. I listened to it twice and (as a science teacher) learned lots of interesting things I did not know or understand. A great, great book I highly recommend.

I just like Bill Bryson and his sense of humor. The best combination of British and US approach. The book is funny, without cheap jokes though, makes you think.

Stays True to Its Title
To cover the Big Bang to modern human beings in 6 hrs is truly a remarkable feat. Transitions from topics and eras were seamless. Very rewarding audio book indeed!

Solid.
Would you consider the audio edition of A Short History of Nearly Everything to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version of A Short History of Nearly Everything, so I can't say if its better or not, but definitely an interesting listen, although its quite hard to visualize some of the more abstract ideas that Bill presents, which would probably be aided with visual representations (such as pictures in a book)
Any additional comments?
Bryson does an excellent job of narrarating this book, and he made it a lot of fun and very easy to listen to this audiobook, and I am looking forward to checking out the print version!

Great Listen
I highly recomend this book if you are interested in science. It covers every feild of science and scientific thought, and it is not boring in the least bit. I listened to the whole 16 or hours three times now.

Where does A Short History of Nearly Everything rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Fascinating! Scientific history told as a story - I had my doubts when I bought it, but I have recommended it to many. Very, very interesting...especially for people who never enjoyed science before.
