Publisher's Summary

It started off a day like any other, as these kinds of days always do. Sara, personal trainer, almost makes it to lunch before chaos strikes her upscale gym. Instead of meeting with an afternoon client, she finds herself face-to-face with what she can only describe as rabid cannibals. The whole first floor of the building quickly becomes a bloodbath, and she hides away in her office, hoping this is just a bad dream.

Unfortunately, it's anything but. When silence descends, Sara realizes she's not only trapped in a building with flesh-hungry people, but her one shot at escape, the nearby parking lot, is crawling with them too.

The only upside is that she doesn't have to tackle it alone. Fellow trainer Gary emerges from his hiding place in her moment of despair, and together they try to attain a human's three most basic needs: food, water, and shelter.

But she could have never predicted finding what she'd always taken for granted to be so difficult - or deadly.

Will she make it out alive? Or will she become a meal for whatever's out there?

    "GO SARA GO!!!!"
Would you listen to Z Walkers: Sara - Episode 2 again? Why?

    Sure, its quick, and entertaining!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Sara, she is awesome!

What about Ben Kass’s performance did you like?

I like Ben, he gives the story life!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

These books would make great mini series material...

    Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

I like this second story about Sara, even better than the first one! Sara had no idea when she went too work one day, that she would be put right in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, but that's not really something we plan for...lol She has to be brave and resourceful...and when left all alone, she has to plan an escape!!

GREAT LITTLE STORY..i RECOMMEND BOTH PART 1 AND 2!!!

    Thank You Audiobookblast(dot)com

    Any additional comments?

Good narrator but perhaps a female narrator would have been more suitable. It's true that it's a third-person narration but from the perspective of a female protagonist.

Not really sure if this is a good book or not because I just listened to one episode. But, generally, there is nothing new here. The usual elements of a zombie-end-of-the-world usual themes. Aparat from calling them cannibals the author did not introduce a novel idea of any sort.

Some disruption between events and the justification of these events takes place here and there.

The main theme is of one survival in a sea of walking deads. The hero is a woman but acts like the usual hero of such a context. Unisex kind of heroes.

The author tried to give her a voice but not sure if he made it.

Not a bad listen, all in all. Might get more interesting in the next episodes.

"Gym Membership to The Zombie Apocalypse"

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com.

This was a fresh start from one characters view point where the zombie apocalypse starts at a gym. The idea of fellow gym members turning into zombies and having to survive is funny, but also covers a basis that no one else would have thought about.

There were times when I didn't like Sara, the main character, but in this case it was a good thing because it made the character feel more real than other books where characters, even women, become these heroes in a matter of minutes.

Just as my review for episode 1, Colin; I would like to see this story produced as an audio drama with sound effects, especially in a gym and how the story played out.

The narrator does an excellent job, but did slip in a few pauses between words that made the dialog seem a bit off.

Episode 2 down and I'm excited to see how the next episode plays out.

    "Really getting into it."

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com.

I enjoyed the first installment, and I loved this one. It's a lot more fun then it should be to follow a character through the opening stages of the zombie apocalypse when they have no clue what they are doing. Sarah is no exception. Her fear is real, but she proves to be resilient and smart. Wait till you see what she does with the pool.

    "The Need for Food!"

Author Luke Shephard has written a good story but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first short story. This story focuses on Sara, a personal trainer. Her day at work started out normal as usual but things soon become disastrous. Personally, the whole zombie thing has become old and it seems every zombie story has. Secondly, I was sick of hearing about food and how hungry Sara was. In addition, and honestly this is no trainer but these four audios should never have been split into 4 short story. I'll explain why, first of all, there's no customer that will ever give 1 credit four times. Credits are precious and when we use a credit it's going to be for an audio that's 6 hours or longer, trust me. Also, no one will pay $6.95 for each audio. If you had put this entire set together which I've been told you are then yes, customers would definitely give a credit for the whole story and maybe even buy the audio. By putting the entire story together it would make a great story with all the different POV's.
The narrator Ben Kass did a good job with the telling of this story. I was able to identify each character. I will be honest and tell Ben that he needs to work on female voices/female accents as well. I found that Sara sounded too manly. Overall, I give it 4 stars.
I received this audio at no charge from the author/narrator in exchange for an honest and unbiased review through Audiobook Blast.

"Very good, would have liked a longer book"
Would you consider the audio edition of Z Walkers: Sara - Episode 2 to be better than the print version?

Yes, the narrator does a great job at expressing the fright and terror the characters are experiencing.

Have you listened to any of Ben Kass’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only Z Walkers Episode 1, both titles are equally as good.

    Any additional comments?

Definitely worth a listen, I just wish it was longer.
