Jon Bartlett's path is clear before him: finish his last year of schooling, then off on the family's ships to learn the intricacies of interstellar trade. But a message of tragedy at home comes for him, and his expected life is flung far out of reach.
"Wronged" is a short story set in the Alexis Carew universe. It takes place some 30 years before the start of "Into the Dark" (Alexis Carew, book one). It is best to listen to this after "The Little Ships" (Alexis Carew, book three).

Dansby/Bartlett is an awesome character- I almost want the main story to follow him instead of Alexis. Good read for fans or newcomers to the series
This story wasn't what I had expected. It was a good beginning but it was not the story I had bought. It seams the writer either is milking his audience or he needed to tell the origin story of the main character of another book. As Trump would have said it "Sad" I loved all the other books of the au
A quick read, recommend you read the first 3 Alex Carew novels to fully understand it.
If you are waiting on the next Carew, this will be fun. You'll need to have read the others to enjoy it though.
It is like a door cracked open a little and you got to see just a slice of what is behind the world of Alexis Carew.
Yes. The Alexis Carew stories are so well done that I expect I will listen to them all several times.
It provided an explanation for two main characters that are key to the story and who set the atmosphere for the third book in the series.
After listening to the first three books in the Alexis Carew story, this little story offered wonderfully told related story and a welcome explanation for the existence and character of these two important people from the third book.
why did I pay for that? I love the author but I need to check the length before buy.next time. not worth it.
