Publisher's summary

When the Rho Project’s lead scientist, Dr. Donald Stephenson, is imprisoned for his crimes against humanity, the world dares to think the threat posed by the Rho Project’s alien technologies is finally over. The world is wrong. In Switzerland, scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider have discovered a new threat, a scientific anomaly capable of destroying the earth - and only Rho Project technology can stop it. In exchange for a full pardon, Dr. Stephenson agrees to create a wormhole that will send the anomaly into deep space.

But his promise masks the alien agenda that brought the Rho Ship to earth. Now a trio of accidentally altered humans must infiltrate Stephenson’s wormhole project and stop it, no matter the cost. The final battle has begun - and this is one battle mankind cannot afford to lose.

Surprise ending!

Would you consider the audio edition of Wormhole to be better than the print version?

The audio edition brings the story to life in a way that the printed version cannot.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wormhole?

The ending was quite a surprise and not what I would have expected.

What about MacLeod Andrews’s performance did you like?

Macleod Andrew's did an excellent job conveying the emotion of the characters during in their conversations.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again, the ending was one of the most critical and moving parts of the story.

Not often you get to book 3 and you find it you find yourself wishing for book 4. I got my wish with "Once Dead"

Once Dead takes you back before the Second Ship and you meet Jack Gregory. And, is there a book 5, YES..

The best Audible narrator I've ever heard.

And a great story that gets better with each book in the series. Highly recommended.

better than the 1st two and well worth the listen!

book #2 for me was decent, but was so "blah", i didn't even write a review. it was entertaining but when it was over, i felt no excitement or ... anything. it was just done. in book #3, there seemed to be more emotion and though put into the story. i feel as though it could have been a few hours longer and parts were rushed, but it was good enough to be happy with the purchase.

I gotta tell you, this has been the most exciting series ever!! Chilling, heart pounding and thrilling, the finality of the three part series kept me on the edge of my seat. The book cover was fantastic as well as the Audible portion. Free read and listen with my Prime Unlimited. Kudos! And now to his next series!!

Doomsday with finesse - Almost a wormhole apocalyp

While "Immune" the second book in the Rho Agenda trilogy, could have been the final book, Richard Phillips surprises the listener with a third book adding the necessary finesse to a good covert-alien-spy-thriller-with-high-school-kids-becoming-mean-machines trilogy.

By now I am either so used to MacLeod Andrews' voice that I cannot hear him reading badly at times, or he has improved tremendously from the first book in the series "The Second Ship." In the end I must confess that he seems to be the perfect narrator for this story.

"Wormhole" leaves off where "Immune" ended. Heather McFarlan, Marc Smythe and his sister Jennifer undergoes tremendous character changes. From innocent children they move into the grey areas of life where right and wrong become vague ideas and where loyalty towards certain people may be the only compass to use to steer them. They are not near the same children they were when the story started. It is as if Philips wrote the whole trilogy before the books were published. It is a consistent, good fun, easy to follow, listening pleasure.

I would recommend that any prospective listener starts with book 1 "Immune" and listen through the trilogy in order. In this way you will not be disappointed by spoilers. Furthermore Phillips reveals just enough in each book to keep you wondering and listening. This was a rewarding well-written, not too serious, over-the-top, enjoyable listen.

Excellent trilogy with the promise of more to come

What did you love best about Wormhole?

Excellent suspense and action, narrow escapes, but Phillips will keep us hanging as to what happens with our trio of teens!

Any additional comments?
