Publisher's summary

The brutal siege of Orgrimmar is over.

Alliance and Horde forces have stripped Garrosh Hellscream, one of the most reviled figures on Azeroth, of his title as warchief. His thirst for conquest devastated cities, nearly tore the Horde apart, and destroyed countless lives throughout the World of Warcraft.

Now, on the legendary continent of Pandaria, he will stand trial for his transgressions.

Renowned leaders from across the world have gathered to witness this historic event. As the trial unfolds, agents of the bronze dragonflight present shocking visions of Garrosh's atrocities. For many of those in attendance, these glimpses into history force them to relive painful memories and even question their own innocence or guilt. For others, the chilling details stoke the flames of their hatred.

Unbeknownst to anyone, shadowy forces are at work on Azeroth, threatening not only the court's ability to mete out justice…but also the lives of everyone at the trial.

Great story

The narrator was just okay and his voices were not really different even with different races etc

Great story, horrible reading.

If you could sum up World of Warcraft: War Crimes in three words, what would they be?

Compelling, Thoughtful, Tense

What was one of the most memorable moments of World of Warcraft: War Crimes?

The court scene where Goel (Thrall) had to see the atrocities his father committed.

Would you be willing to try another one of Scott Brick’s performances?

I had to suffer through all 60+ hours of Scott Brick's rendition of Atlas Shrugged. This was the one blight on this otherwise great story. A trash can full of rotten fruit might have pulled off a better performance. Brick lacks the ability to pull off emotion with his monotone, pained voice.

Any additional comments?

I seriously would recommend no one listen to Scott Brick ever again. Terrible performance.

phenominal

was glued to it basically from start to finish. Usually I only listen during my commute to and from work but I kept bringing myself back after getting home and even on lunch breaks to see what was happening next. One of the best books in the series.

Surprisingly engaging and thoughtfull

An enjoyable tale. I admit that I was hesitant and yes struggled at a scant few points. Yet the fact that 90 some percent of the story was drama based actually drew me in. Further perhaps than many more action based stories. The characters were quite well portrayed and i found as a warcraft fan newfound respect and knterst in many characters that I had previously overlooked. And Scott Brick does do a great job of bringing these said characters to life.

Amazing yet lacking

A story that seemed to lead into an epic moment lead instead to a lacking scene.
Well written however compared other Warcraft books it suffers with lack of content and most of the story just seemed to be dragged out.

Sweet

So, this is the first WoW book I`ve ever read / listened to, and it was amazing to felt like I have been a part of some of this story, but also get to know some stuff that were not included in the game itself!

I was pretty surprised that the most exciting plot point was Close to the ending, but it was a pleasent experience all the way through :)
