Super good but.........

What did you love best about Words of Radiance?

The story is great

What other book might you compare Words of Radiance to and why?

I would call it a cross between the Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me want more.

I am not sure I can recommend it. The story is great book one and two are awesome. The problem is that they are so good that it leaves you sad that you have to wait for the author to write the rest of the books. If you started reading Game of Thrones years ago like I did you will understand what I mean. Bottom line it is a well written series, but may be best enjoyed three or four years from now when it is complete.

Loved it

Fantastic reading of a wonderfully layered book. The second book picks up the pace of the core storyline & lets you see more of the wheels within wheels that Sanderson has setup.

this is just as good if not better than the first book I eagerly await the third book.

Awesome

I loved the book and was captivated all the way till the end. I can’t wait till the next book. I hope this author is not like Orson Scott Card which punches out 2 books fast and then takes forever to bring out the conclusion. From Orson Scott Card I have two series which are not completed now for a long time. Even from Brandon Sanderson I am waiting on Steal heart second book. So the question remains why sci-fi writers always start other series before completing one.

Words can't describe how thoroughly I enjoyed this book! I wish only that I didn't have to wait for the next book in the series

Thankful for my commute, storm it

My commute to work is an hour and a half each way. I found myself looking forward to the drive and being annoyed when someone would call while I was driving. Thank the stormfather that I still have an entire book to go yet. I only hope there will be more.

one of my a time favorites!!

I don't want to leave this world, love all the characters and the decisions they make are not always black and white. Well worth the time to listen.

Officially a fan!!!

I was hesitant to start this book knowing that the next installment will not be out until year's end. Sanderson's detail and depth is amazing. The narration is engrossing. The use of male and female narration is exceptional. I questioned at first when the same character's voice was portrayed by each narrator based on who's point of view was being described. In the end it added a real depth to the performance and the different viewpoints let you feel like you were getting into the characters heads.
