Publisher's summary

Sullivan Quinn didn't travel 3,000 miles from his native Ireland and his wolf pack just to chase rabidly after the most delectable quarry he's ever seen. Quinn is in America on a mission---to warn his Other brethren of a shadowy group willing to use murder and mayhem to bring them down. But one whiff of this Foxwoman's delicious honeysuckle fragrance and he knows that she is more than a colleague or a conquest...she is his mate. Anthropologist Cassidy Poe is a world-renowned authority on social interaction, but the overpowering desire she feels around Quinn defies every ounce of her expertise. Working by his side to uncover the Others' enemies poses risks she never expected---to her own safety, to those she loves, and to her heart, as every encounter with Quinn proves more blissfully erotic than the last. Now, with no one to trust but each other, Quinn and Cassidy face a foe that's edging closer every day, threatening to destroy the life they've always known, and the passion they’ve just discovered.

Good listen

I found myself liking this book more than I had expected. Kate Reading is always entertaining, and I think I would enjoy listening to her read Terms and Conditions. This had an interesting story, a bit of humor, some sex and other action too. Overall, a good way to spend a credit.

Great Series

I am totally hooked. I have every single one of these books. I think Christine Warren hit a home run with this one and having Kate narrate did not hurt either. Nothing but praise

just "ok"

This book is really slow to get started. Has a whole lot of supernatural politics, all explained, which makes the first part of the book pretty boring. Some action, and mystery takes hold, a little later in the book, which makes it more interesting. Probably won't buy the next in the series, though. Just didn't get me hooked.

Great Story Well Worth The Listen

This story is by turns a mystery and great romance. Full of Kidnappings, twists and turns and hot werewolves who could resist? The author also has a great sense of humor at certain parts in the story. The ending is as sweet and satisfying as the beginning

Too much narration

Would you try another book from Christine Warren and/or Kate Reading?

I am on the fence with her books after listening to this book. The first book I listened to was Not Your Ordinary Fairy Tale. It was promising and encourage me to read this book.

What was most disappointing about Christine Warren’s story?

There was too much 3rd person narration. The story also rambled a lot, which caused me to tune out and fast forward parts towards the end. The story was too focused on describing the background, what everyone was doing, standing, sitting, etc. Due to the amount of detail to narration, the listener is not pulled into the story but instead the listener is subjected to a lecture.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Voice is to deep. Lacks range.

Do you think Wolf at the Door needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There should not be a follow-up book. This book was so bad with 3rd person narration that I would not spend another credit to listen to part 2.

Disappointed

This books starts with an interesting premise of an "other" species among us and develops a fascinating, complex social network. Then it gets lost in VERY long sex sequences and suddenly wraps up the story without really bringing all the side plots to a satisfying end. I selected it because Kate Reading is such a terrific narrator, but I doubt that I will choose anything else from this author

Book was ok

This book was ok. It wasn't one of those "I couldn't put it down" kind of books, but it was good. I may try the next in the series to see if it gets better. I enjoyed the reader, as I have in other books she has read.
