Hope this series never ends!
Discovering Kim Harrison was my entertainment high point - she has continued to deliver where Laurel Hamilton did not. Kim has created yet another cracking good novel that compliments all the earlier books in this series. The characters are enriched, the story line is coherent both as a stand-alone book, and in series development. Personally the only demerit was the narrator. The Outlaw Demon Wails has been the only other audible book of this series I have listened to and I adored Gigi Birmingham's interpretation of the characters. This narrator failed to deliver the same level of imagery.

Just Finished
I just finished White Witch Black Curse, and I loved it! I have missed Rachel so much the past months, she is back in all of her glory, as another reviewer said her "I'm sorry's" get to be a bit overdone but not enough to detour me from this listening, we finally find out, well whats been left open in previous books gets tidied up here. I can not wait for the next book, its killing me that its not coming out until next year.

performance in the story is better than books 6 due to the return of the narrator from book 1 through 4 to perform The Voice for Jynx and for Rachel. unfortunately though it is still too wordy between carrying out the storyline to a conclusion in each chapter.

So thrilled Marguerite Gavin is back narrating this series!!! She reads the varies characters so well. I know who is speaking based on her tone and it makes for a better story.
Kim Harrison is by far my favorite author. I’ve read the Hollows series before and have decided to now listen and it’s great revisiting old friends.

I really enjoyed this series. I started it it for something fun and "not serious" and couldn't stop listening. The characters are fun and the twists and turns become more fun.

Simply amazing!
Wow! Hold on to your seat because you are in for an emotional rollercoaster! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll curse human kind! In the end you will be grinning from ear to ear...I know I was! You have to buy this! Trust me, you will not regret it!

Delighted Author has Ms Gavin again as Narrator!
Having enjoyed this series up until the unfortunate choice by the Author to select an uninspired narrator for the previous book in this series, Outlaw Demon Wails, I settled back into the story line and characters that make this series so delightful. The Demon Lord that is not all that demonic, the Vampires (both male and female) that love Rachel but consider the the taking of her Blood to be taboo, the Werewolf cum sometimes detective partner, the Faries and Pixies this series has it all. Kim Harrison is an Author to be enjoyed over and over again.
