What does Allison McLemore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way the story characters come alive. She does an amazing job of character differential! She's charismatic & it comes through her reading.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Zombie & Snarkass, a zombie girls' guide to modern living.. Or
Trash is the talk, a zombie survival guide

I really love this series!

I enjoy this book very much. sometimes after work I dont fewl like listening to muaic because it seems like too much. But a nice audio book does the trick. I don't want to leave the car most times because I'm just so enthralled with this story. So GREAT. I have recommend this book to several people.

This Should be Live Action

This is one of the most refreshing series I have grown to love. It's pure entertainment and snarkiness will keep me coming back again and again. How this isn't a series is only evident by the mass influx of zombie movies, but I can see all of these characters and hope it'll get its shot on the next resurgence.

Fantastic Series!

I first saw My life as a White Trash Zombie at my local supermarket years ago and purchased it on a whim based solely on the cover ( I know I know shouldn't judge a book by its cover). When I began to read it drew me in so quickly I couldn't get enough of it. I wanted more to my delight I found the next installment and the next. It's such a refreshing spin on an overdone genre. I highly recommend you read each one. On a separate note I don't do audio books much because I prefer to hold the book in my hand and let my imagination give each character their voice. However Allison McLemore is fantastic and the voice she gives each character is especially Angel is delightful. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

I,ve been following this series and think it's brilliant

What did you like best about this story?

It's different I haven't encountered any story like it.

What about Allison McLemore’s performance did you like?

She brings Angelkins to life, the story would just be another zombie story (although good) without her. Allison McLeamore does a fantastic job!

What made the experience of listening to White Trash Zombie Apocalypse the most enjoyable?

All of it! The characters all the way to the performances of those characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Trash Zombie Apocalypse?

I like the way the writer evolved the main character. She was just his low class, white trash kid that couldn't seem to stay out of trouble and as she started go grow into herself and her character, the rest of her world started to treat her accordingly. A memorable moment for me was her relationship with her father.

What about Allison McLemore’s performance did you like?

OMG, She did an amazing job. With her LA accent, and the phrases that would come out of her mouth, I found myself LOL at work, and people would turn to me thinking I was laughing at them! She did an amazing job!!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure. White Trash Zombie works for me,

Was'nt sure about the whole ZOMBIE thing, and when she first discovered she was a zombie, craving brains, I was a little turned off by it, but I got use to it. It could have been that every time she would describe it in detail, I was eating something... lol

Would you consider the audio edition of White Trash Zombie Apocalypse to be better than the print version?

I usually want to read a book first and if I like it enough, then I buy the audiobook.

Except for this series.

THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW SERIES THAT I BUY THE AUDIO INSTEAD OF THE BOOK....It is that GOOD!

What did you like best about this story?

In all of the WTZ books I really enjoy how Angel's character changes and grows.


Plus, she can KICK ASS!

Which character – as performed by Allison McLemore – was your favorite?

I love Angel's accent and mannerisms. McLemore does a wonderful and realistic version of a poor educated Southern hick.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole situation with the flood and the aftermath. That series of scenes shows a lot of strength in Angel, her father and OMG, Nick.

Everyone's character got a boost with that scene.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Angel of course! She's an uneducated hick from the sticks, but she's smart, kind, strong, oh, and she's a zombie. And she's taking it quick well..

Which scene was your favorite?

Can't say. I ran through all three books so fast it's all just one big book to me. The 1st time she has sex on brains made me go hmmm...

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yup, and I'll likely listen to the trilogy again.

If ever a series needed to be continued this one does. The narrators gave what I think is probably the best performance I've heard yet.
Oh, and this series would make an awesome series on AMC or HBO. So, again I say,, WeWantMore!! WeWantMore!! WeWantMore!!

All of them, I've never heard someone go from Bayou to male Asian and French voices. She is amazing, I think the way she portrays the father is the best.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Angel and her dad coming together!

Any additional comments?

Suspenseful as the first two books, ending was a little slow. CANNOT wait for the fourth book!
