This series of books is SO great and refreshing in this genre of books. I listen to a LOT of paranormal books and series, but I have never been a fan of zombie apocalypse books. This series is very different from any of those!!! It's more like a vampire heroine book but with a GREAT twist on being a zombie!!! And each book just keeps getting better and better!!!!!

Good, but not as good as the 1st two.

Where does White Trash Zombie Apocalypse rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is good and worth the listen, but I did not find it quite as entertaining as the 1st two books (which I loved). If you are a fan of the series you should buy this, but if you haven't read the other books start there.

Have you listened to any of Allison McLemore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Allsion McLemore has a unique voice. I do not think she is the best reader I have ever heard, but does a good job in the White Trash Zombie series.

Funny, exciting, and wanting some additions.

The main character and her attitude.

Love the quirky sense of humor in these books!! Never gets boring and getting ready to start the next book!

love this story

Another great story. Allison McLemore is fantastic. Her transitions between characters is flawless and the voices are consistent. The only thing I found distracting was that for several chapters it sounded like she had a bad cold. No sniffles, just a muted stuffy sound. I bought the next one as soon as it finished.

I loved this book the best. This is where everything comes together and makes me Love all the characters even though the narrator had a touch of a cold.

Just love

The narrator does an amazing job such a great choice. Completely believable and a perfect match to what I would imagine. Her renditions of the different characters accents and voices really round out the experience and help to really picture them. The writing is such a breath of fresh air because it is so different from most. The dialogue is definitely for adults but I found it completely relatable and fun to listen to. As if a crazy friend was telling a story. The book itself is fast paced and entertaining with lots of action and oh crap moments. I also like that there were so many characters although sometimes I had to think to remember them all by name. luckily Diana is such a wonderful and descriptive writer I could always catch on with a few sentences. I love everything about this book and this outlook on zombies. Wonderfully reimagined and I'll be sad when the series is over.

Zuper. But...

The story is just as good as the others in this series. Angel's character continues to develop in unexpected ways.

The narrator usually does a good job, and all things considered that continues here. However, I'm convinced that somewhere in the production (around chp 10 or so ) she caught a cold. I might not have noticed, but stone portions of the audio were obviously recorded at different times, either before her cold or more likely after. The contrast is stark and draws me out of the story.

I'll still be sure to pick up book 4. This is a fun series read by a talented narrator.

Couldn't finish due Actor's Stuffy Nose

No, tried her Demon books, and they weren't for me.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Normally, she wouldn't have, but after waiting so long for this book only to constantly be distracted from the story by Allison's horribly stuffy nose, and ensuing icky noises, I just couldn't finish it. I have a serious weak stomach.

Could you see White Trash Zombie Apocalypse being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Maybe a tv series.

I could have waited another week or so for the voice actor to get over her cold; I wish the directors of the production thought the same way.

Does not disappoint!

This book had a completely different feel to it in a different approach from the first two books in the series. But that doesn't necessarily mean that this book was not as good as the first two. It was just as good and it's just as exciting. Sometimes you have to except that a book is necessary to pick up the action in preparation for the big finish and I think that was really the purpose of this third book. I enjoyed it a lot the only problem I had was with the narration. I really like the narrator for the series but it was obvious that in this book she had a very bad head cold. Who does that? what powers that be decided that it was so urgent to record the book that they couldn't let this wonderful narrator recover from my stuffy head cold? But aside from that she was her wonderful usual self. Do not miss this book :-)
