The battle has begun. There is no more running away or trying to hide. The survivors confront their attackers head on, both human and otherwise. As the mystery starts to unravel surrounding the man in the pin-striped suit, can our heroes stop him in time?
We're Alive: A Story of Survival, the Fourth Season, the final season, features 12 chapters packed with performances and sound effects that rival movies and prove that modern audio drama is undead and well. Join our survivors as they band together and discover that zombies are far from the worst thing in a post-apocalyptic world where the rules of human decency no longer apply.
Little food, little water, little hope - who is lucky enough to say, "We're Alive"?

I applaud all authors in the zombie apocalypse genre - even the "bad" ones. Keep doing what you do!
Wayland's entire "We're Alive" radio drama is fantastic, well written, well acted & well produced. I missed the last season's podcast and decided to stop being a free loader and buy it on Audible. Creative, exciting, frightening and entertaining this last stretch does a great job of closing out this series while leaving the door open for future possibilities (you know never to leave a door open when there are zombies around, right?). Listen to the whole production and you won't be disappointed.
Once in a great while you'll find a Gem in all the audio books out there and this one my homies is the one. Listen to all three and I promise you will not be disappointed. End of series I think was masterfully conscripted. Well done. Great from start to finish.
as with the previous books, podcast rather this is an amazing performance the actors and actresses do a great job making it all sound believable. The sound effects are wonderful. I really can't get enough of this series. I'm almost sad that it ended
really enjoyed this format, loved story and with great sound effects and whole cast. it really took story to another level.
loved the ending
worth a listen
Gripping plot, rich characters, and impressive production! I blew through these 4 seasons.
Even though I didn't want it to end, I'm very satisfied with this ending, which is very rare!
The three seasons of We're Alive are probably my favorite purchases I've ever made here in audible. I've listened to them over and over again and still get engrossed in the story.
Season three is a fantastic way to end this chapter of We're Alive. There's times that make you want to laugh, cry or rewind. Few forms of media can do what they did here with this audio drama. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
A great story that I first followed on podcast. Great to hear it consolidated. Can't wait for the next production to come along.
"Didn't want this story to end!"
Fab. Don't usually favour full cast audiobook readings but this was an exception . Gripped from start to finish . I got really attached to these characters going to miss them 😞
"The end of a sage but the beginning of a legend"
This is the last season in a long running survival drama by KC Wayland. It ties up everything quite nicely and leaves a few areas open for exploration in the coming series tales from we're alive. The chemistry between the characters and quality of acting is that of a BBC production. If you like the walking dead or zombies, run! Then you need to check this out.
"loved this series"
so much more immersive with the sound effects and play format. looking for more immediately.
"better than the walking dead"
I loved this when it was first released and I've listened to all four seasons several times and it still manages to make me tense and keep me on edge may even bring a tear to my eye. well worth the money.
