Six years ago federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happens, an attack that changes her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire.
Now in Vampire Games, Samantha Moon is hired to look into the suspicious death of a popular fighter—and quickly discovers there’s far more to the story than meets the eye. As she uncovers clues into the boxer’s past, she will come face-to-face with something unexpected...and something only whispered about. Additionally, Samantha must confront the growing supernatural powers of those closest to her—and a betrayal that will rock her world.

This is a very quick read. Everytime I finish a book in this series, I tell myself that it will be the last one. Of course it's a lie. This is a great series and the narrator does a great job giving a voice to the characters. My only complaint is that it's too short. He should combine two books together. It's worth a credit and the the time. I recommend the series.
Samantha Moon's vampire abilities continue to grow and the addition of the medallion protection from the end of the last book has made her life much easier. Some new revelations concerning her children and a big step for Fang. Ishmael interferes and sets up Kingsley in ways that are devastating to Sam who was just opening up to him. Perhaps not fast enough.
Another good but too short book.
Entertaining, thrilling, intriguing
My favorite character is Sam. She is complex and likable.
I haven't listened to any of her other performances, but I liked this one. She does the voices of other characters really well.
the books are great.
I love the fact that you see both sides of the character...her at home with her kids and her being what she is...a vampire.
Her character is my favorite all around part of all of these books.
Yes for sure!!!
I love to read, but Audible makes it a great experience..
I'm at this level and I love all the books so far. They make you mad, sad, happy, and sometimes wanting to just kill someone. Keep them coming.
This is definitely the series I love to hate. is like a train wreck, you can't look away. Pure nosiness is the reason i read this. Our Vampire Single Mom has major self esteem issues. If I hear her say she's a freak one more time I'm going to choke her out. It's been 7 years, get a clue, join a vampire newbie support group, hey a vampire for dummies book already!
Anyway, too short this episode. I really think it's more like a series of short stories.
I thought the interaction between Moon and her daughter was brief. I did LOVE the scene with her and the boxers girlfriend. I mean seriously give her a blood sucking pass already. If the girl likes it, we love it. Just don't drain her! The detective and Fang, okay really? Where the hell did that come from, and I totally saw Fang becoming a prick.
Do I look forward to the next one? Uh, yes! Again, Its the story I love to hate! ♡
Dina Pearlman can sound sarcastic, humorous.
Always like the books better. Wouldn't want to ruin this series with a TV series or movie.
Yes I would, actually I did, for the reason I like the other stories in this series. It has most things one looks for in a work of fiction. Such things as humor, suspense, times you want to cry and times you say Yea!
When main charactor has here children at Cold Stone and they "Pinky Swear" to protect each others secrets. It sounds like something my sisters and I would do.
Quick easy listen. Half on the changes in her family (interesting development with the kids) and half on work. An interesting mystery that would have been hard to guess. Personal life going down the tubes. Getting a little tired of her calling herself a monster. Seems to happen at least once every book. You'd think after all this time she'd start to learn to accept herself and stop calling herself a monster. Didn't really like the way the Fang story is going.
Narrator did a great job.
