Publisher's summary

Zombies are real. And we made them. Are you prepared for the zombie apocalypse? The Smith family is, with the help of a few marines.

When an airborne "zombie" plague is released, bringing civilization to a grinding halt, the Smith family, Steven, Stacey, Sophia, and Faith, take to the Atlantic to avoid the chaos. The plan is to find a safe haven from the anarchy of infected humanity. What they discover, instead, is a sea composed of the tears of survivors and a passion for bringing hope.

For it is up to the Smiths and a small band of Marines to somehow create the refuge that survivors seek in a world of darkness and terror. Now with every continent a holocaust and every ship an abattoir, life is lived under a graveyard sky.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!

I'm a huge John Ringo fan and this series/book doesn't disappoint. I've listened to it twice already and know I'll be listening to it again. Riveting story well narrated. You won't be disappointed.

John Ringo is a wonderful writer

But, sadly, although I love the plot, I think the narrator just doesn't do it justice. There is a lot of awkward pacing and phrasing that just threw me completely out of the story 😢

after 2020....

if i listened to this 2 years ago i would have found some things laughable. People going to a concert in new York while a zombie outbreak is happening, people saying the exact anti vax speach that's been everywhere the past year, people blaming the outbreak on political boogie men.... yeah I am now thinking Ringo can see the future or something because oh boy did he nail the reaction to a deadly pandemic lol
