Publisher's summary

The magic flames are raging. Blades are melting. Souls are reduced to ashes in the fury of battle. The grand finale of the war for the First Temple is upon us. The last trump cards have been played, the reserves are all exhausted, and even the gods have engaged in the plebeian fight. The universe is on the point of collapse. Broken are the chains that held the worlds together. The icy waters of the Baltic cool the scorching sands of the Frontier. The creatures of AlterWorld spill the first blood on the quiet streets of Earth's cities. What is Max to do? Become embittered and butcher his enemies? Seize the deserted castles and abandoned lands? Attempt to save the one who had given her life for him? Or try to win the jackpot by finding a way home, back to Earth?

That's it?

I hate endings like this. It felt so rushed with so many questions unanswered. The final fight is something I wouldn't even call a fight. Seemed almost like d. Rus didn't know of how to end it and settled with whatever.

Tedious and predictable.

Disappointed in this series. Rus took a genre with great potential and turns it into a comic book.

I guess it's over?

I'm glad I got some sort of closure to the series but in my opinion this boom felt extremely rushed. I mean, previous books managed to go on for pages just explaining loot management. this one took a gigantic amount of unresolved plot and tied it up in the messiest bow I've ever seen. worth a read but don't expect too much.

Beast ass book!

loved this book. Rus melded the world's perfectly. It had a really good ending and left me wanting more. I just hope we get a book 8 and many more to come.

So much for character development.

The last couple of books our main character was getting more and more sexist. He flat out doubles down on it a few times in this one and sadly that's the closest to character growth that we get.

I know litRPG books tend to some heavy Mary Sue writing but this one goes all the way. We hear repeatedly how tall and broad and intimidating our main character is and there's never a moment where you feel anything major might really go wrong.

The ending is just... Lazy and feeds even more into it.

a useless entry into the series

the last 3 or more novels have been pointless.
I really wish the author would have wrapped it up quicker.

First 3 books were great then down hill

The first 3 books were great then they just went down hill from there. I don't know why I even picked this one up. I guess I was hoped for better and I listed to all the rest. The performance was great, story was so so.

Need more

Loved the series, but not a fan of the abrupt and what seemed like rushed ending.
