Publisher's summary

The new novel in the hit New York Times best-selling Dresden Files series.

The Warden Morgan has been accused of treason against the Wizards of the White Council - and there's only one, final punishment for that crime. He's on the run, wants his name cleared, and needs someone with a knack for backing the underdog. Someone like Harry Dresden....

Now, Harry must uncover a traitor within the Council, keep a less-than-agreeable Morgan under wraps, and avoid coming under scrutiny himself. And a single mistake may cost someone his head - someone like Harry

Critic reviews

“Fans of Laurell K. Hamilton and Tanya Huff will love this series.” (Midwest Book Review)

“Superlative.” (Publishers Weekly, starred review)

“Butcher...spins an excellent noirish detective yarn in a well-crafted, supernaturally-charged setting. The supporting cast is again fantastic, and Harry’s wit continues to fly in the face of a peril-fraught plot.” (Booklist, starred review)

Dresden at his best

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! This collection of short stories are like mini books. They are filled with action, Dresden humor, and wonderful visualization.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Turn Coat?

It was the story about Dresden rescuing Billy's wife. It was action packed and full of unusual faes.

Which character – as performed by James Marster – was your favorite?

The faerie cat creatures. He did such a great job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The best of the best. A taste of incredible imagination combined with great talent.

Any additional comments?

I was sad when I finished it. I enjoyed it so much.

James Marster is THE voice of Harry Dresden

Where does Turn Coat rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of my top series of books, my defaults when I don't want to listen to anything else. I have listen to each book more than once.

Have you listened to any of James Marster’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Marster's is THE voice of Harry Dresden. I won't listen to another reader. There did exist a book read by another performer, and I preferred to read the paper version of that book and not listen to another reader.

the Dresden File books are amazing series and James Marsters is phenomenal. Harry Dresden is a sarcastic and head strong character that I can see myself relating to in many ways.

Good Job

Yes. The scheme of things are getting complicated. It is getting to be that I need a program to keep up on who is who and what is happening to people. But I have to admit the stories and plot lines are still pretty good. A sort of busyness that at first makes you wonder what is going on, it quickly clears as the story moves on.
