Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

Brandon Sanderson bumped it up a couple notches

I couldn't stop listening! The best book in the series so far hands down. Brandon Sanderson leaves each scene with drama, so you can't stop listening.

Pieces coming together

Where does Towers of Midnight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

What a great book to bring all the pieces of the story closer to an end.

What does Michael Kramer and Kate Reading bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

All of the characters are consistently voiced. Certainly each is written to support their own speech patterns etc, but Michael and Kate really provide the consistency that makes it all work so well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are a few very special moments, but sharing them would be filled with spoilers.

This book is amazing!

This is one of the best books I have ever listened too. Written, performed, and coordinated perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better build up before the end.

Loved it!

I think Robert Jordan would be very pleased by Sanderson's work in both this book and the Gathering Storm. That's really all the praise that is needed!

BUT...could someone PLEASE tell Kate Reading that there are only three 'a''s in "Mesaana", not 50? I cringed every time she said the name...."Mesaaaaaaaanaaaaa" I don't remember her doing this in past books.
