Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

Awesome Series of well written books...

This has been by far one of the best book series I've ever read... Can't wait for book 14 to come out on Audible. I ran into the series completely by accident looking for books by Brandon Sanderson.

Voice change

Not sure why Min got a wispy voice all of a sudden. Annoying since she is the oldest. Her voice needs to go back to how it was.

must experience

do yourself a favor and read/listen to this series. you must start at book one. I, personally, wouldn't bother with the prequel "a new spring" until you're at least 5 books in. you won't regret taking this journey.

Blood and Ashes

I love this series. It's been almost 6 years since my roommate gave me the first book, and I have been obsessed ever since.

If anything the books have gotten better!

I was worried when I knew author had to take over the series for its completion, but he's doing so well! If anything has changed, it's for the better.

I did not think it could get better...

But it did! The story just keeps developing, finally closing 10 novel spanning side plots and building upon those blocks for epic final confrontation... Sanderson adds impressive detail to Jordan's beautifully woven storyline.

13 Books in

The writing style shift is far more noticeable in this book vs book 12, not bad, subtle but clear. I took a point from the performance as it almost seemed jarring a couple of maybe jump cuts in the recording. The were so significant I actually thought the audio skipped.
