Don't Judge This One By The Movie
I've been a Michael Crichton fan since Adromeda Strain and Jurassic Park. I consider Timeline to be one of his very best. Excellent sci-fi story, mixing history, science, and fantasy. Really fun and thought provoking. Too bad they made such a mess of the movie, but the book really is excellent.

Never walk around in medieval times
I know there was alot of research that went into this book, but the characters were basically on the run the whole time whether outside or inside. It kind of made you want everyone to sit still for one chapter so you didn’t have to follow a chase scene. Okay time travel book, if your a time travel lover I would choose a few others to spend a credit on first before you get to this one.

Great concept executed well
I very much enjoy Michael Crichton and yet again another masterpiece. I’ve always been drawn to the medieval times and this is book delivered exactly what I was hoping it would. Futuristic technology plus knights and armour. Heck yes!! The only thing I did not like was the seemingly random 10-20 second pauses where nothing could be heard and I thought something was wrong with the book or phone.

Best read audio book to date
By far the best read audio book I've heard so far. It sounds as if you were hearing lines recorded from a theatrical performance of this book.
The characters each sound different and read with such enthusiasm you can't help but keep listening to this novel. Michael C. delivers yet another wonderfully interesting fictional tale that written in a way that you swear it could happen in real life.
Highly recommended not only for the quality of the story but for the professionalism of the audio book.
