Great story but....
the story is an amazing story but happens very quickly. as in a week's time. it's a very exciting book and things get moving rather quickly. it is a fun read and if you like action and excitement with death and time travel this is a book for you. I wish the ending had closed a little better but im not an author so what do i know

A great time travel read
I love Crichton, every book he writes is so vivid like your watching a movie. Timeline is no different here, great characters and story, highly recommend

Captivating story with amazing detail of a time long ago
Really liked the historic detail of the 14th century—society, architecture, and day to day life. The story line was suspenseful, full of believable action and had me pulling for the characters from another world.

long gaps and quality changes
story is fantastic but the audio for chapter 4 (over 8 hours) was recorded in chunks with long pauses between, over 15 seconds apiece. Some of these sections are a little staticky, only noticeable at transitions.

Amazing story
Loved the story! The action is intense and keeps you listening. Some sound quality issues and long gaps that I’m not sure were intentional, but nothing that takes away from the experience too much.

wow, another Michael Crichton classic!
Michael Crichton was an absolute genius of the hard science techno thriller. his novels never fail to spark the imagination while leaving the reader enthralled with the excitement and tension inspired by his stories. this one is no different, a wonderful exciting reading or listening experience.
