BT, Gary, and Mrs. Deneaux race to the Talbot compound in a desperate bid to turn the tides of a lost war. Is Michael dead? This is the question plaguing the Talbots as they prepare for the final showdown with a merciless enemy hell-bent on their absolute destruction.

I truly love the characters Mark Tufo has created for his Talbot stories. The strenghts and weakenesses are interesting and the plotlines move smoothly along. I have listened to every audio book Audible has listed that he has written and with the exception of one (Timothy) had a most wonderful time. To be honest I almost didn't listen to the first book because I found Mike Talbot to be really irritating but I came back and soon listened every chance I got.
I guess the downside (& you know there almost always is at least one) is that because the same character names were used in each book, I kept getting confused between the young Mike Talbot of Indian Hill, Spirit Hill and the Mike Talbot in the original zombie book series. The only way to avoid trying to sort the different aspects of Mike Talbot's growth is to just sit back and thoroughly enjoy the books and try to patiently wait till the next booik of the series.
I've replaced my HD TV with the Audible app.
I always say I won't include spoilers and I'll continue with that by saying you won't be disappointed. Mark Tufo delivers the goods and wraps up this series in fine fashion.
The reunion in the living room choked me up. Gotta love me some BT
Sean delivers the Talbot family banter and sarcasm second to none.
The Tufo/Runnette combination always makes me laugh if a Talbot is involved. Throw in some BT and a little Tommy and it's a masterpiece.
If you have never read the Zombie Fallout series and have just now found this adventure I envy you. I was lucky to come in late in the series as the 5th book came out and listened to the entire series to that point in less than a week. The months of waiting for this final book in the saga was painful and way to long. I relistened to the entire series no less than four complete times before this release and several of the books mulitiple times or back to back. Bring on Hollywood and the attempts to capture the greatness of the Zombie Fallout.
