Story
My name is Etan, and I am Adorned. A living piece of art, I exist to please the divine rulers of Kered. With nowhere to turn after my father died, I tried my luck in the capital city. Little did I know how quickly I would be robbed, beaten and forced to sell myself into servitude. But I was lucky enough to gain the attention of Roberd Tallisk, an irascible but intriguing tattoo artist who offered to mark me with enchanted ink for the enjoyment of the nobles. I was given a chance to better my station in life, and I could not refuse.

Lacking health insurance and diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2011, Shawn quickly accrued a massive medical debt that he did not have the ability to pay. That’s when New York Times best-selling author Terry Brooks offered to donate a short story that Shawn could sell to help alleviate those bills—and suggested he ask the same of his other writer friends. the wise man's fear
beautifully written, magnificently performed. the second installment of the kingkiller chronicles exceeded all expectations I had for an already amazing story. it's nearly twice as long as its counterpart but felt like half the length, the story is very well written and not forced or drug out. I highly recommend for any lover of the coming of age fantasy.

I need more of this series!
What made the experience of listening to The Wise Man's Fear the most enjoyable?
everything this series is exciting! I LOVE these characters! Kvoth, Bast, the boys, the professors, the girls, everyone! The familiarity, the narrator, the strong and engaging writing has me hooked!! Until we get another book int he series, I may have to read them again!

Great story with good character development
Second in series that is well worth your time. one of the best stories I have read in a long time. production isn't as good as like star wars but reader does a good job. Story is super rich and really brings you in. Recommend to all fantasy lovers

Very gripping novel
Overall, I really enjoyed the audiobook. The one thing that was off-putting was the narrator's accents, especially of the Adem characters. They all sounded like Borat, which was distracting.

best series ever
Best series ever. I have the biggest book hang over right now waiting for the next one. You MUST read The Name of the Wind first so if you haven't go read that first it is key to the story and characters.
