Publisher's summary

The impossible has happened. The Lord Ruler is dead. But so too is Kelsier, the man who masterminded the triumph. The awesome task of rebuilding the world has been left to his protege Vin - a onetime street urchin, now the most powerful Mistborn in the land. Worryingly for her, Vin has become the focus of a new religion, a development that leaves her intensely uneasy. More worryingly still, the mists have become unpredictable since the Lord Ruler died, and a strange vaprous entity is stalking Vin. As the siege of Luthadel intensifies, the ancient legend of the Well of Ascension offers the only glimmer of hope. But no-one knows where it is or what it can do....

Unlike anything I’ve ever read before so unique

This book blew my mind by its character development from the first book to the second book. First let me start with the Magic system or otherwise known as ALLOMANCY it’s so unique than any other magic system books I’ve read before. And the world building it’s so rich with detail. Furthermore the characters are all incredible. Vin❤️ and Elands❤️ relationship and character development is so amazing I love them so much and Sazed❤️
The story is a masterpiece and the plot the twists and turns 😮 OMG MY MIND WAS BLOWN 🤯 . The first book was incredible and the second book was even more incredible and I haven’t read the third and final book from the trilogy but I have a feeling that I’m going to love it too so much that it’s going to be in my top favorite trilogy books out there. If not my number 1 trilogy book of all time. 😍❤️🥰

Amazing

It's amazing, this book has been the source of many sleep deprived nights for me this month.
I couldn't stop listening even if the clock was 4 and I had to get up at 8, I'm in awe at the creative genius that is Brandon Sanderson

Brandon Sanderson 5 stars all the way :-)

I have gone through all of your books and they all should be given 5 stars. It would be awesome if you could release all your books on Audible for us Aussies. By the way...... I can't wait for the next "The Way Of Kings" book.

Every action has a reaction

Any additional comments?

I really like how because they defeat the lord ruler troubles no one knew about is coming out to the world. the darkness is returning, and the threat of war from three fronts, a new mistborn, new records of before the Ascension, new monsters, and things the writer of the journal from the last book are happening again. plus hints to be solved in the next book

Good surprises ahead english/português

I was not so fond of Kelsior to feel much apprehension for his absence in the second book of the series. Even thought the series could make space to evolve other interesting characters such as Ham or Breeze, but did not think for a second that prime focos would be given to Ellend.

I didn't even pay much attention to his character in the previous book, and when I realized he was one of the main points of view of this book, I found the prospect unpleasant.

But again the author surprised me. In Luthadel siege scenario, in which none of the plans sustained for more than a few pages, the characters surprise us with dense dialogues and scenes of physical and social violence, which although causing some angst, were always exciting.

Mas novamente o autor me surpreendeu. No cenário de Luthadel citiada em que nenhum dos planos consegue se manter por mais do que algumas páginas, os personagens nos surpreendem com diálogos densos e cenas de violência física e social, que apesar de causarem certa revolta, são sempre instigantes.

Not as good as the first, but amazing still.

Not as good as the first book, but only because the first was so amazing. Loved everything about it other than a romance triangle and teen angst subplot that I found tedious. My biggest complaint is in regard to Sanderson's books in general. He seems to regard religion as a positive thing and faith as some sort of virtue. He has a condescending view that some people need such delusions to function. It's rather frustrating to listen to someone indirectly preach about how dishonesty and self-delusion is good.

A little slow to the point

Another excellent book. If only he'd cut it down a bit. There was drag in this story that I didn't feel in the first book.

Hopefully next book will be better edited and more on par with the first.

The last 20 minutes of this version is an ad.

The stated runtime of this audiobook is misleading. The last 20 minutes is an ad for another Sanderson book.
