An elite group of military assassins are preparing for an assault on the Greenbrier bunker, their mission to remove all traces of President Glass and her supporters. It is up to Deputy Marshal Mason Raines, his giant Irish wolfhound, Bowie, and a beautiful Mossad agent to stop them. But as they race across the country, new dangers threaten to disrupt their plans, including ravagers that terrorize the roadways in armored cars.
When Mason stops to search for munitions at an Army depot, he is recruited by a corps of young cadets to help recover their missing commandant. Little does he know that the depot has become the home for hundreds of bloodthirsty survivors. Pinned down and hopelessly outnumbered, Mason must put his skills and trusty Supergrade to the ultimate test.
Tanner and Samantha depart on a quest to put an end to President Pike's growing tyrannical rule. Along the way, they must confront the most violent of men, including a psychotic Delta Force soldier who has taken to skinning his victims, and a band of Mexican drug dealers that insist on young Samantha's help in recovering their lost payload. Only as they push into the nation's capital, does Samantha realize that Tanner plans to call upon her father's killer to help them survive the terrors beneath the city.

Must read or listen. You are on the edge of your seat most of the time. The narrator does an excellent job. He changes voices and dialects perfectly!
Have enjoyed the entire series can't wait for the next book . Tanner could have an entire book to himself he's a trip.
A story with more heart...this story is way too mechanical ... Kinda like a person that can sit down in front of a piano play every note in front if him without emotion and the next artist needs no music to make you feel every note. This book has that kind of disconect
I don't think I would be interested at this time maybe at some later date after I have forgotten this story
The dog and his story was interesting
Really my only complaint with any of the books in this series are a few details that are over looked or just not enough research done on military equipment. e. g. duce-n-halfs don't use keys or any authentic military hardware. I know it's picking nit but I catch it each time it's missed. otherwise 5 stars
An eclectic mess: bibliophile, bushcrafter, archer, former infantryman, loather of statism and stupidity, not to be trusted around chocolate
An excellent series, very good writing, frequently humorous combined with a very talented narrator .
Father and son, mother and daughter fighting to repair the United States of America. What could be better than that. Write on! Keep the story going.
