Dante Galand has cured the sickness that trapped him on the Plagued Islands. Now it's time to leave. And kill a priest.
The target is Gladdic of Bressel. Gladdic, who executed Dante's friend, the pirate Captain Twill. Who all but enslaved the Plagued Islands. And whose visions of empire are far from over.
But Gladdic is trained in both ether and nether - and a darker magic than Dante has ever known. He's the most dangerous foe Dante has faced. And if Dante falls, so will an entire kingdom.
Set in a USA Today best-selling world, The Silver Thief is the second book in the Cycle of Galand.

The release of the original trilogy as a single volume hooked me like never before. These have been some of the most amazing audio books I've had the pleasure of listening to, the silver thief has been no different and brings more of the amazing adventure to date.
An outstanding addition to this trilogy. So much so, I found it better than Book 1. Edward W. Robertson is one of the top 5 authors I've had the pleasure to experience in this genre and Tim Gerard Reynolds, as always, shows himself as being a top tier narrator. The author continues to seemingly effortlessly weave a wonderful mixture of humorous banter between Dante and Blaze that evokes almost a constant stream of snickers only to immediately plunge them and their team into bone chilling terror.
He also conjures up another character in a parallel story arc, Roech (sp?), whose adventures are just as compelling as Dante and Blaze.
I was left wanting for more, unwilling to wait for Book 3.
look man, I gave you 5 stars. I know this just came out, but I've listened to all the others. I need my next book.... now! You have me hooked like a crack head. Great book! Absolutely fantastic. Please sir, can I have some more.
Listened to 5 of the series and each one leaves me with wanting more. The banter between the characters is some of the most captivating and colorful I've experienced. Great book in a fabulous series. Great performance!
This series continues to be amazing and the narration is excellent! Edward W Robertson is a gifted author and Tim Gerard Reynolds is quickly becoming my favorite narrator!
Another good book with new ideas and new magic. This series are my new favorite books. No overly whining characters, no poor me attitudes, just good solid adventure. Also the narrator is excellent.

"Excellent all round"
An excellent addition to 'the cycle' books. The narrator is top notch and the story is riveting from start to finish.
"Cannot wait for the next one"
So, picked up the first book because it was a good deal and I love fantasies. Bought the last two because I grew to love the characters and the stry lines zipped along at a great pace. Now can't wait for the next book. Just about to look for the authors other books.
"Another Awesome story"
Loved the story and exciting adventure and blaze still as funny with his one liners as you would expect and Dante still the all powerful nethermanser loved the story sad it finished roll on the next book. Love Edward Robertsons work and love Tim as a narrator really gets the character on point and makes the story everything it needs to be thanks guys keep up the awesome work
"Once again, truly enjoyable! "
One of the very best narrators I've ever listened to, and I love the exceptional humour in the characters' dialogue - albeit not quite to the level of The Cycle of Arawn. I'd highly recommend this series to anyone interested in Fantasy!
This entire series has been incredible in every way. including value for money.
the only slight issue in this audiobook is that it sounds slightly tinny. I stopped caring about this as soon as the story started properly.
I'm very glad I invested in the silver thief. it had a great story and excellent narration.
I'm very much looking forward to the next book.
"well written page turner"
Second in the cycle. Fith in the series. Story line gets better and better.
"another brilliant installment"
These series of books are really engrossing. I just had to keep listening. The plots are twisting and the characters ate humorous and likeable. I can't wait to listen to the next book.
"Thoroughly enjoyable... If a bit rushed."
A genuinely enjoyable listen, this 2nd instalment keeps you gripped and keeps you guessing too as to what more could possibly go wrong. Its core strength I found was that it explores yet another aspect of Dante with meaningful relevance to the core plot. I felt it could have done more though. The end was a bit abrupt however, I'm left frustrated but looking forward to the next one.
I know this review is a bit of a stub but hopefully it provides at least some insight. Definitely worth a listen.
