Great story, well told.

I enjoyed this entire book series. I am sort of tired of how often religion shows up in science fiction, but it was integral to the story, and it was presented very well. Chapter 23 of this last book seemed like it was written by someone else, but overall I think everything was quite great. Dan Simmons is obviously a bit of a poet. I enjoyed the language. I recommend this book series.

30 years in the 'reading '

In first read the Hyperion novels many years ago but never got around to Endymion until recently, thanks to Audible. So I listened to all four books pretty much back to back and just finished them. Absolutely beautiful ending to an epic tale. We'll done to all involved.

Best book in the entire series!

I would love to hear what happened with Raul and Annea's child! I really want to start the whole series over again.

A decent ending to a mediocre series

This was a decent ending to the series. Overall I wish I didn’t get into this series. The good books were good but the bad books were so bad. Few series I regret sticking with to the end. This one almost joins that list. Almost. The last book didn’t screw everything up.

This was the first book series I had gotten into in a while

I highly recommend this book series to anyone who is in college or above.

This book series tells a wonderful story of the journey of many characters. And after following these many characters for many books The Rise of Endymion keeps suspense high and tells a wonderful story with a more than satisfactory conclusion. Unlike the second book in this series, The Rise of Endymion does not slow down and kept me captivated and entertained throughout the entire book. I found myself on the edge of my seat to find out what happened next and I never wanted to stop listening. If you are into sci-fy books and enjoy excellent character development in addition to great storytelling I would highly recommend this book series and it would be a mistake if you didn’t start with Hyperion.

Amazing

Funny, sad, exciting, and deeply philosophical. The author kept me guessing until the very end.
