This is the best book I have read in an extremely long time. I purchased the sequel half way through.

Overall a fantastic novel!! the narrator really embodied how I imagined this character to sound, so thank you Nick podehl for making Kvothe come to life!

the book is great but I get the feeling we will have to wait a long time for updates in the following volumes

One of my Favorite Books of all Time! You just have to experience it to understand its depth of character. If you don't understand the first 40 or so pages, hang in because you will.

this is my favorite book every, followed only by is sequal. that don't start book until book 3is released

Awesome!

This book is tied for my number book of all time. The other being Mistborn. Mr. Ruthfuss writes in the most amazing way. He makes the words he writes flow like watercolors. It is brilliant in every way and he is one of the best authors I have ever read.

Superb read. must be patient though

To be honest, if I give this review in the first 5-7 hours, it would be horrific injustice to this book. just hang in there, be patient and soon you will be engulfed with the atmosphere Patrick Ruthfuss created for us. Excellent Narrotor, would be awesome to be able to listen the music Kvothe is making :)

Stunning

A brilliant story and brilliant performance. the author pens a tale that keeps you hooked and the narrator makes it seamless.

It would be better if it were cleaner...

It makes sense in context but a lot of the stuff was unnecessary I was disappointed
