Anita is still my all time fav!
I've been re-listening to these book from start to finish with my husband. He is not exactly a reader but he is totally in to these books. I'm so happy I have finally found a way to get him to "read" these! This book was amazing! I love the sound effects, they go with the story perfectly. And the narrator is Phenomenal! Can't wait to start the next one!!

LOVE the narrator! Sometimes as much as I love the storyline and book the narrator can kind of ruin it. The narrator draws you in and before I knew it I had been listening for hours. Loved the story. Amazing mystery!

I'm here for the story which does lag a little, but overall a good read or listen. The sound effects and music kinda yank me out of the story. in my opinion sound fx should not be in a story being read.

love this series I go thru it fast and have listened multiple times. I wish there wasn't a gap in the series. audible needs to catch up!

Worth a read and a listen
I am a long time fan of Laurell K Hamilton and the Anita Blake series. I’ve read all of them and when searching for my next good listen decided to revisit favorites. The only thing I would change about this is to add a little more Jean Claude. Otherwise action and Anita is a strong female lead who doesn’t get too angsty.
