Publisher's summary

The sorcerer Zinixo had declared himself the Almighty. Now goblin hordes ravish the Impire. Dragons incinerate entire legions. And the slave-sorcerers of the Covin practice whatever barbarities Zinixo requires. It is only a matter of time before the mad Zinixo is almighty in fact as well as name - unless Rap of Krasnegar can conjure up a miracle.

I love it when a plan comes together!

In this, the 4th book of the Handful of Men series, Duncan pulls it all together, All of the wide spread, separate adventures all come back together.

Some of the story was predictable, some was a complete surprise. But all things considered, it was an EXCELLENT end to a fantastic series.

Satisfying conclusion to an exceptional series.

My wife and I listened to these books together and loved them. Very well performed by Mil Nicholson.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant, .................

What did you like best about this story?

Each character in this series is dynamic. Everyone's story is exciting, not to mention the overall story. No waiting for the book to get back to an interesting character they were all interesting. Great writing plus awesome narration.

Incredibly disappointing end to the series

Great first 3.75 books and then the ending was astoundingly disappointing and really puts a pall on the entire series.

Spoilers: Three books of building up to this great climatic battle between the protagonist forces and the enemy and....the author has a god snap his fingers and it's all done. What a monumental let down. It truly ranks as one of the worst endings I've ever read. My mind just boggles that this was the end goal.
