Publisher's summary

"I was 13 years old when I was kidnapped. They took me from my family, from my friends - from everything I knew, and stole my innocence. They brought me to a world beneath the surface of Antarctica, where I was broken and trained by a hunter named Ninnis. He served the ancient Nephilim: half-human, half-demon monsters. My personality was buried in my subconscious and replaced by that of Ull, a hunter and killer.

"For a time, I too served the Nephilim. As the first and only human born on Antarctica, they believed that I could contain the spirit of their fallen king, Nephil, and lead them to conquer humanity.

"But I was stronger than they knew and escaped deep into the underworld, where I have been hiding for the past two years. I live in a cavern, which is somehow lush with green vegetation, eking out a living and cowering from the confrontation that I know awaits me. But the nightmare has found me. I can smell them. The hunters. They have discovered my hideout.

"The pursuit of Solomon Ull Vincent - the last hunter - has begun. And if they catch me, this is where my story will end."

I Need Book #3 Immediately!

Any additional comments?

I cannot say enough good about this series. As much as I loved the first book, I enjoyed this one even more. Now that we know the characters, we have a vested interest in what happens to them. I like seeing the progress made by Sol, and it is fun to see him grow and mature. I am anxious to start the next book, as the ending left us hanging and I need to know what happens!
I listened to the audio version of the book, and R.C. Bray was brilliant, as usual. I love the voices that he used for the various characters, and he really brought the story to life. On to book #3!

Fantastic series!

It took me awhile to start the series,I just kept thinking I wouldn't be interested.
I now listen to them just about every night before bed, when I end the series I start over again. The narrator is one of my favorites and the author is now on a list of others I have in my head that if I see their names I get the book.

Predictable and Cringe worthy!

Well I will say that the idea is not bad, but the predictability and cheesiness of this story is too much. I am a big fan of RC Bray but I honestly barely got through this whole book. I won't be picking up the next in the series. There was just to much cringe going on!

More twists than a pretzel

Narration was incredibly well done, the story continues to reveal the hidden creatures and denizens of the Underworld. The ongoing rage of Ul in spirit and mind is incredible.Cant wait for the next book!

Reads like a YA prequel

The headline sum up my view. This was an entertaining read/listen. I will get book three because the story line has me hooked. This book just didn't add much to the story. Although it my be expanded in book three who knows.

They did it again!

Where does The Last Hunter - Pursuit: Antarktos Saga, Book 2 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The audiobooks in this series keep getting better! As this is only my second audiobook, I would rank this in my top two.

What other book might you compare The Last Hunter - Pursuit: Antarktos Saga, Book 2 to and why?

I would compare the whole series to another saga similar to something like Star Wars. There are the main characters who combat against a few villains, allies are gained along the way, as the enemies increase in number as well, and both the hero and villains take hits and have victories throughout the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Solomon takes the spirit of Nephil, and he unknowingly causes a global catastrophe.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions, but it did cause me to grow eager to continue the series.
