Publisher's Summary

The past few years have been a mixture of torture, painful growth and sometimes, pushing its way through all the darkness - joy. I have made friends and allies, brothers and sisters, mentors and... Kainda, who is something else entirely. But someone is missing, someone whose memory saved me from despair - Mirabelle Whitney, my hope. So while the human race prepares to defend itself, I ride toward the encroaching Nephilim army intending to save Mira, return to our feeble base and lead the charge against those who plan to wipe the human race from the face of the Earth.

It sounds like an impossible plan, and maybe it is, but if we're going to die, we're going to die like hunters - boldly and bravely. More than that, we're going to die together, as a united race facing a common enemy. Nationality no longer matters. Ancient grudges are forgotten. The human race must resist as one, or face extinction. And now it falls to me, along with Kainda, Em, Mira, Kat, Merrill, Aimee and Luca, to light the path for humanity in our darkest hour. Harnessing the power of the ancient Jericho shofar, we must prevent Nephil, the most ancient and evil of the Nephilim from possessing my body and using its supernatural abilities against mankind.

The odds are stacked against victory. The Nephilim out-size, out-power and outnumber us ten to one, but we will fight to the last, the very last, so help me God.

I am Solomon Ull Vincent - the Last Hunter and King of Antarktos - and I am prepared to face my fate.

"Perfect end to a great series"
    Any additional comments?

This book and overall series was beautifully written, all the characters were fleshed out and given sufficient time in order for the reader/listener to connect to them. The narration was great, at no point are you confused as to which character is talking for the narrator has carefully crafted each characters voice to be significantly different.

The struggles, climactic battles and overall plot is described wonderfully so that it is vivid in your minds eye as each adventure takes place. The ending will leave you very satisfied and happy that you begun reading this series in the first place.

    Highly recommend!!

"This is the best book of the series!"

I have very much enjoyed all of the books in this series but I truthfully gave 4 stars (still pretty good!) to the first couple or three. Still, I couldn't stop listening and I am glad that I continued.

This is the best book yet! The climactic battle will have you on the edge of your seat and is as good a listen as I have had from my favorite authors like Vince Flynn, Michael J. Sullivan, Robin Hobb or Daniel Silva.

The reader is so good at rendering the voices of men and women alike, and giants and malevolent monsters as well. You are never in doubt as to which character is talking. And he uses pacing and dynamics to great effect during the reading.

I wasn't sure about this series when I started it. I got it on sale. But I am very glad that I did since I have found another author that I really like. And I couldn't stop until I had read the entire series!

What did you love best about The Last Hunter - Onslaught?

I listened to all the books in the series and its was really good it kept me on the edge to find out how it would all end and Jeremy brings it all together in his explosive way. But I can't help but thinking that Sullivan could have defeated the Nef on his own without the deaths of so many ... But that is what made the book so good I guess, his working with mankind to win.

What does R. C. Bray bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Omg he's an amazing story teller ! He makes you feel as if your there and has a way to make you feel the characters on the inside and there feelings. Plus his voices for everyone was just spot on for what in your mind you would think someone like Luka would sound like.

    Any additional comments?

We need Jeremy to get more of his books in audio!

    "Great Take on the Gods"

The Antarktos Saga is dynamic and insightful. I read the first book and was hooked. The unfolding of the story along with the entrance of the key characters was timely as the author displayed the relationships between these characters I felt a connection to them as well. The story, told from this perspective, reinvigorated my interests in mythology and how truth can be stranger than fiction. Love the Saga, Jeremy. R.C. Bray did just enough voice manipulation to keep in line with the great writing without detraction or distraction.

"An Amazing End to this Wonderful Series"
    Any additional comments?

What an epic ending to an amazing series! I am so sad that this is the last installment in this series, and have to say that these were some of the best audiobooks that I have ever listened to.
The story was a huge thrill ride from start to finish, and I found myself very anxious to see how things turned out. I thought the series was wrapped up nicely, and I loved seeing Sol mature through each book. RC Bray did an amazing job with these audiobooks, and I highly recommend that you listen to all five books.

This series captured me one hundred percent at the first book. I immediately had to buy the whole series. My housework and social life was put on hold so that I could be carried along with the story. The narrator was excellent infusing the characters with personality. Thanks for a great story of survival and hope
