Excellent yet teasing to the point of frustration

We NEED more books in the blood song universe. Possibly Vailen as an old man. Similar to Logan nine-fingers in red country in the first law universe. We NEED more books set in this universe. Books that are at least 20 to 25 hours long. PLEASE. Steven brand is my favorite narrator just above RC Bray and that is saying a lot. This particular store was good and written well. I enjoyed it a lot. At $10 it was a bit too expensive for only 2.5 hours but worth it nonetheless. Antony Ryan, this is to you personally. Keep doing what you're doing and get those hands moving to get us some more amazing content out of that brilliant mind and into our ears. I beg you.

Anthony Ryan kills it again!

Amazing. Steven Brand is back, with his usual brand of raspy narration, and tells an awesome tale of Vellis and Sentis' meeting. A great glimpse into the seedy Southern Quarter!

Pygmalion treatment for lady of the night

More of a side story than a prequel, this is a short caper featuring the origin story of a minor character in Blood Song. It isn’t necessary to know anything about the series/world to enjoy this. Features wh0res, violence, and crude language… but it shoots past the dark and gory bits pretty quickly.
For free in Audible Plus, an excellent nightcap.

Another fantastic little story!

All I can say is that I hope Anthony Ryan will continue to produce additional Raven's Shadow novels and short stories with Steven Brand. I have read everything 3 times through and can't get enough. Thank you, to both of you.

Very enjoyable

Would loved for it to be longer. Answered some questions in the second book of the series and further enhanced one of characters.
