Assassin Artemis Entreri whisks his kidnapped victim, Regis the halfling, south to Calimport and into Pasha Pook's vengeful hands. If Pook can control the magical panther Guenhwyvar, Regis will die in a real game of cat and mouse.
Using an enchanted mask, dark elf Drizzt Do'Urden hides his heritage and races with the barbarian Wulfgar to save their light-fingered friend. An unexpected ally arrives just as Entreri springs a trap. But can Regis survive unscathed?
The companions from Icewind Dale battle pirates on the famed Sword Coast, brave the deserts of Calimshan, and fight monsters from other planes to rescue their friend…and themselves.

Hello, My name is Levi Brousseau. I'm on a life long mission to find stories that blow my mind.
this story was action filled like the others.
This story was one you could hardly push pause. the story is so engaging.
Once again Drizzt never disappointing. this story great all the way threw.
I would definitely recommend this audiobook....the story is well written and the narrator tells the story with such great voices and inflection that it is well done from beginning to end.
From my reading history my perfect book would include; a space ship piloted by Ender Wiggin, that is infested by Zombies, who are being hunted by Drizzt Do'Urden and Lestat, while Joe Ledger and Amy Harper Bellafonte try to keep the ship from distroying Middleguard. The Sequal would be from Bean's perspective, with an epilogue by Malcolm Gladwell.
Another great book by R.A. Salvatore. This addition to the series introduces a few more characters that will play major roles in future novels. Absolutely full of the swirling blades of Drizzt, and many moments where you may find your self cheering for Companions of the hall, along with some comedy thrown in. In short great great great if you read the first 2 or 5 books your probably already all in, but if you haven't read them I recommend reading Homeland , Exile, Sojourn, The Crystal Shard, Streams of Silver, in that order before you read this one, unless you want to skip to the camel punching then get this one first.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
A bit slow to start, but once the action adventure starts it is one heck of a ride. This is part 3 to the trilogy, but really the story starts with Drizzt's Homeland book. I have enjoyed the dark elf stories and anticipate completing all the books. My brother recommended this fantasy to me and I am glad I listened to him. Narrator does a good job.
I enjoyed the Icewind Dale Trilogy, a story of the earliest days of Drizzt's existence above ground. I enjoyed watching the Companions develop their relationships. The story is fast paced, plenty of action. Victor Bevine did a good job of narrating.
The fact that this series is the best ever no better
The whole thing joy
Brings it to life
Yes I would listen to all 20+ books in a row if I could
Thank you ra and audible
Absolutely! The reason being is because I spend so much time in my car I can get through a book in a few weeks as opposed to months if I tried to read it during my free time.
Victor Bevine's voice for the merchant that double-crosses the friends. I know his name but don't want to butcher the spelling!
I've only heard him with the Icewind Dale trilogy. All were strong performances and I find it amazing how he can keep all the voices straight.
Parts of it made me laugh.
Can't wait for Legacy of the Drow to make it to Audible.
Yes, loved the book and loved the audible
Great charecters brought to life
Yes, victor does a great job on all these books
