wonderful narration!!!

I loved this book even more than the first book! The narration was a joy to listen to. Thank you so much!

Male narrator is challenging to listen to

After having listened to the first book (Eye of the World) narrated by Rosamund Pike, which is just an absolute delight, this was almost too hard to keep going. Kate Reading is great, but Michael Kramer is just awful. If he’s not actually narrating a character but reading parts of the book that are descriptive, his rhythm is awful and hard to listen to. The best way I can describe it is like a baseball announcer reading a terrible dime-store detective novel.

I love this whole series of books and I wanted to listen to them, but there were times that the way Mr. Kramer was narrating was so awful, I barely could convince myself to continue.

My advice, definitely grab a sound sample of a chapter and listen to him reading it before you buy. It might be too much for you to handle. It did get better as the book went along, but I’m not sure if that’s because there is just less non-character narrative later in the book or he actually stopped narrating the book in such an odd irritating way.

On to book three for me! I really wish Rosamund narrated a few more of these.

Jordan Delivers again. (also Michael and Kate!)

I don't know how but this book was even better than the first. The individuality of each character comes through so well and that is thanks in part to RJ's writing and the wonderful performances by Kramer and Reading. I am enthralled with this series and may even go straight through! Seriously good stuff and am looking forward to The Dragon Reborn!

Loved book two in The Wheel of Time series! On to #3! I can't wait

Slow at times but great.

I love the plot and the world he has world. Jordan includes lots of details, so at times it can drag, but once it gets going it's simply awesome.

If you love big open world this series is for you.

This is becoming my favorite fantasy book series the longer I listen the more I get hooked just finished the great hunt, looking forward to diving into The Dragon Reborn.

Gripping

The story had me hooked part way through, near the tail end I could not get enough of it.

Just freaking phenomenal. So glad I can finally finish this series I started reading over a decade ago! I’m a mom now and it’s only thanks to audio books that I get any stories. :) I have always loved Robert Jordan’s writing.
