Another amazing book in the series.

These books are amazing, the whole series is one of the best, if not the best ever written, in my opinion.

2nd book in the greatest fantasy series ever writt

Amazing story and performance. This series is the best fantasy series you can read/listen to.

it's ok

the story was a little confusing because it jumped so much back and forth. the first book was awesome and had fantastic narration this book is not so much I wish you would have went with the people who used in the first book.

Narration: Rosamund Pike vs. Kramer/Reading

I’m a huge audible listener and a huge fantasy nerd, so it only seemed natural I’d delve into the wheel of time series. I started with Rosamund Pike for the first book, and then in my sheer horror, realized she only had narrated one (so far🤞🏼). I’m far too invested in the series now to wait for her to record/release them which I’m sure will take years, so I figured I’d give Kramer/Reading a try. Let’s just say, I’m not happy. As my own personal preference, I prefer a non-American accent for all audiobooks. There have been a few I’ve forced myself to listen to and have actually grown to like, but this is not one of them.

Will I listen to book 3 narrated by Michael and Kramer? Yes, only because I have no choice. (I want to finish the series and hate leaving a series midway through.) Will I buy all of the audiobooks Rosamund puts out in subsequent years? YES, because she was utterly fantastic brining the story and characters to life, and it will be a great reason to re-listen.

In short, I will trudge through the rest of the series, albeit disgruntled and annoyed with Kramer’s assassination of names/places, endless lilts at the end of sentences (is everything a bloody question?????) and annoying narration of the world FLICKER. Reading is decent, but quite monotone with the different voices, which is quite soporific.

Please let Rosamund Pike narrate the rest of the series!!!!!!!

times is not linear

in the interview... Jordan says that time is Linare. "there is nothing new under the sun" we have been repeating same acts as people and as a species since the dawn of time... but there will come one last time to get it right. and I think we are here. that's why it's seems to some, like we only get one life.... this is the last. 1000 year reign may almost be up

It was a great listen.

Great listen. I found myself now wanting to get out the car at the end of my drive.

The only good part about the book is the ending. I kind of fell off when they forshadowed that Rand would have three wives and polygamy really just throws stories down the drain for me.

Loved the story, but the narration was monotone

The narrators of this story were, overall unimpressive. The story was a great continuation from the last, looking forward to book 3!
