Electrifying

Once again Jordan has captured the very essence of story telling and delivered a masterpiece that will delight readers from all generations!

It really picked up!

The first book in the series started out slow and was a little confusing trying to remember all of the new characters (like all books), and it started to pick up towards the end. This book keeps on going up and up from where the last one started. I feel like it never slowed down once, it was so good!

the more the story went on, the more I want. I found myself being able to see the story in great detail.

Better Than The First

Would you listen to The Great Hunt again? Why?

As much as I liked the story I probably wouldn't listen to it again purely because of the length. I may change my mind at the end of the series of I want to go back and see the foreshadowing.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how each character has their own motivations for their choices and they seem believable based upon their personalities.

What about Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ’s performance did you like?

They are very consistent with their readings and easy to listen to and understand. They have a good range of voices as well, so each character can distinguished in conversation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I don't think this a fair question for a 40 hour book, but there were times I listened beyond the time I would normally allot for myself.

Any additional comments?

It was up for debate whether I wanted to go through the whole series after the first book, but this one has helped convince me to go through them all.

Blown away! A Masterpiece!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The Readers do a great job telling the story. Highly recommend Michael Kramer and Kate Reading (lol i wonder if the name reading is real!) for any audiobooks. they are FANTASTIC storytellers. Kramer is better skilled but Reading is excellent.

What did you like best about this story?

I don't know where to begin. It's just a fantastic story. Jordan takes his time to develop the characters. The world he creates is so intricate. the Dark Lord is friggen scary! you know how in the harry potter books youre not supposed to say voldemorts name but everyone does and nothing happens? well in wot, dude, DO NOT say the name of he whose name must not be uttered! this is one scary bad dude! very gory but not gratuitously. i really cant say enough good things about wot. this is the best series ive ever read and ive read lotr, harry potter, sword of truth (stopped at book 5 as it felt like terry goodkind sold out).

Have you listened to any of Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no. they are OUTSTANDING. especially Kramer.

Had to rewind and listen again.

I love the sound of this story being read! Such a wonderful book and is conveyed so well by these readers!!

An excellent read and listen

I completely recommend this book (and series) to anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure.
the audio book was a great way to relax and really get into the story. Some words were pronounced a bit differently than I thought they would have been, but I guess it's the readers prerogative with a dash of artistic license.

A fantasy thrill ride with engaging characters and a masterfully constructed plotline. Jordan is a genius.
