"Another great book by Mr. RA"

I must start by saying how much I enjoyed this book. I have read all of Salvatore's series and books and was quick to jump on "Transitions" series when saw it on Audible.

I believe that this is Salvatore's darkest adventure for good ol' Drizzt Do'Urden ever. I am still shocked at the outcome. I won't say more as I do not wish to give anything away, but I am still blown away with how it ended.

I truly enjoyed the narrator and have added him to my list "of narrators to look for in the future list". And I hope to see more of the Salvatore line up in the future.

"Good story. Many, Many References To Previous Book"

You should try to find and follow the release dates of the books; otherwise you will not understand the references to the past.
Good imagination, good action, good magic.
The dialogue was well presented; not too dramatic, not too bland.

    "Sad day finishing"

I like these books very much. I like everything R. A. Salvatore writes, one of my favorite authors and this book doesn't disappoint. It may not be a happy ever after it is still a good read or listen. I like the voices of each character.

    "good not great"

This was a good story, but it felt more like a filler, for a greater story. I don't mind fillers that have a good story and are part of a greater journey, but this wasn't billed as a saga so i was left wanting more. On a positive note, awesome to have so many heroes fighting side by side. Dracolich-awesome and I can't get enough of Jarlaxle, (he's softening a bit, and i prefer the manipulative merc.). I will continue to be a fan and read/listen to more of companions story.

"I love these books R. A.Salvatore is amazing"

Loved it. Love these books. Love the forgotten realms. I feel like they should have Victor Bevine narrate all of there books. They only thing I don't like is how they have switched narrator's on some books.

"Good story but grab the kleenex"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes because I am a great admirer of RA Salvatore's writing and the narrator was very talented.

What other book might you compare The Ghost King to and why?

Pirate King because it is the sequel to the Orc King.

Have you listened to any of Mark Bramhall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    It's the same guy.

    Any additional comments?

Great work from both author and narrator.

PS my husband listened to these books not me. He is the fan of RA Salvatore.

"Orc King = good; Ghost King = great"

The Pirate King was a little less than I am used to with a Salvotore book. The Orc King though has returned to the masterpiece of science ( fantasy) fiction that I so adore. The Ghost King was fantastic and the best of the Trilogy. Some day he will truel be compared with Tolken.
