Publisher's summary

For 100 years after a nuclear holocaust annihilated civilization, the Family has eked out a meager existence in the wilds of what used to be Minnesota. But something is going wrong in the Home. People aren't living as long as they used to. Mutations are becoming more common. To ensure their survival, there's only one thing the Family can do: venture outside the compound walls for help.

Three of their best warriors are chosen for the task – Blade, Hickok and Geronimo. Each is a weapons specialist renowned for his cunning and battle skills, each a proud defender of their fledgling society. But when a band of barbarians attacks the Home, the newly formed Alpha Triad may find their mission over before it even begins and no one left to save.

Decent story for a dime store sci-fi novel

It's very clear this book was written in the age of cocaine, nuclear war threats and mutual assured distruction, but it still has a pretty good plot and knits a decent yarn.

outstanding

I read this series while I was in the navy. I am glad they are putting this series in audio format. I just hope they are going to do the whole series.

One of the key books as to why I read!

Was so excited to see this turned into an audio book. Great performance and a fun listen. One of the key reasons I read today is this series of books. I spent a lot of time across America tracking down the complete series. It took years to finally complete the collection and to now discover the Author still is writing them has been so fun for me. I got this audio to try it out on my son, who hates to read, on our ride to school in the morning. To my surprise he has started to ask questions when we have to turn it off. He knows I have read them all. Will Blade die, is Hickok the best shooter, will Geronimo show up to help. It has been fun going back to this apocalyptic world and visiting the Warriors again. Thank you David Robbins and thank you Kevin Foley for once again bringing this world to life!

Endworld is finally on audible!!!

I started reading endworld around the age of 12, or so. I’ve been collecting the books since then. Years ago , I finally located all the books that are part of the series (endworld, blade), and even the wilderness book that had the characters from endworld in it. Then about 10 years ago my girlfriend (ex now)and I broke up. She took my entire collection to hurt me because she was mad that I broke up with her. I did so because she cheated on me. Anyway, I mention this only because the entire series of endworld has been my number #1 favorite, always. It means the world to me to be able to pick up the first book and start re-reading the whole series every year, again and again. Since I lost the whole series I was forced to try and find them again. Only found a few and then 2 years ago I discovered audible and kindle. To be able to listen and read endworld again is amazing!! Ever since doomsday came out (endworld 0), every month I check my kindle and audible for new titles in the endworld series!! Thank you Mr. Robbins for bringing the much loved series back and giving us a taste of hopefully things to come. I am very excited to see what comes next! Bring on the next book!!!!! Please keep writing more books to add to the series!!!!

Literal crazies have kidnapped members of the Family; a small group of about 100 people, who live in a compound called the Home. It’s up to Blade and Alpha Triad to dig up a vehicle that will transport them to the crazies home turf. Will Blade go mental over his girlfriend being kidnapped; or will he be commented to rescuing his girl and the others from the generational mentally unstable?

I think Blade will give them peace of mind and clarity…in death!
This is the greatest action adventure series!

Not very organized

I thought the idea of the story was great. But the author would go into detail on some things but then skip over major plot lines. It also had no ending .. and part two was a totally stand alone book so there really was no ending.

Trash

Mind numbing scrap. If there is a story line in this one, I didn't disearn it or maybe I just didn't want to sort it out.
