amazing.
an absolutly lovely read. beautiful fantasy. I have no idea how he comes up with the names in this book but having an audible performer speak them aids greatly in reading along or just listening.

Amazing Epic Fantasy
I absolutely love the Eye of the World and the series as a whole! The audiobook is especially nice if you're the type of person who's constantly on the go, just because it takes a lot of dedication to read the Wheel of Time. If you enjoy epic fantasy and great character development you must listen to not just the Eye of the World but the entire series!

Couldn't wait to keep listening
Everyone has heard of books that you just can't put down, well this was one for me. I would spend half my commute each day listening to this book and had to almost force myself to get out of my car once I got home because I was so pulled into the story.
I am excited for the rest of the series. Hopefully it will have some more detail about the history and where all the different creatures came from.

My favorite series. Hands down.
This story and its characters captured me (when I really didn’t have the time in my busy schedule to devote to it).
Thanks to Audible I’ve digested every book, and just started over to catch what I missed.
This first book is the one that pulled me in, and I’m so glad :)
Grew up on popular fantasy, but WoT is in a league of its own 👍

the start of something big
I've been wanting to start Robert Jordan's the eye of the world for quite a while giving its reputation and the length of its series. I anticipated it being quite complicated but didn't realize how difficult that would be to start with the story. by listening to it via audiobook it was very enjoyable but a little difficult to hold on to all of the different players. that being said as time went on I found myself a deeper and deeper in the story. I did read a via the book a few of the chapters to make sure I had the the names right as they are spelt differently than you might expect. I would recommend the audiobook as well as the Kindle version so you could do both. I'm looking forward to starting the Nextbook later today!

Great book, great audiobook experience!
Would you listen to The Eye of the World again? Why?
No, Don't care much for re-reading or re-listening to many books, just not worth it to me. rather spend my time on a new book.
What other book might you compare The Eye of the World to and why?
Any other Wheel Of Time book.
What does Kate Reading and Michael Kramer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I enjoy that they have a distinct voice for most each character. Granted this was my first audiobook, and I will be listening strictly to the other books in the series until I am done, on the fourth now, so I don't know how normal that is.
