really fun quick read
it is a really creative setting with a creative story told within. Sanderson being clever, intriguing, and different with his usual heist sensibilities.
the voice actor did an amazing job conveying the story and really knew how to build the inherent temsion of the story.
a really good read. you wont be disappointed.

Where does The Emperor's Soul rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Nice short story
This is my first reading by this author. I intend to read/listen to more from him. He paints real characters with depth and intriguing storylines. Can't wait to read more fantasy fiction by him.

Short but good story. Supernatural powers that people possess are pretty cool too. Protagonist's powers reminded me of Parshendi from The Stormlight Archive.

The Emperor's Soul
I love reading Brandon Sanderson because his work never fails to move me. His characters come alive and are so very complex. There wasn't much world building in this short story, but there was enough. Angela Lin's voice is at once soothing and captivating.

Brilliant Story!
As Angela read, I felt like she was invested in understanding the story just as much as Brandon Sanderson was. This, coupled with an impressively deep view into humanity and personal motivations, came together for a wonderful audio book. I'd suggest this to anyone interested in doing what is right *because* it is right.
10 / 10, would read again.
